Hi....Guys, me and a friend were talking yesterday about silkroad...and be were thinking how could these goldbots be stopped(I know again ang again this problem with bots)...and we came with an idea...BEFORE telling you the idea, I want you guys to know that we are going to send a message to joymax with this idea(we will give strong arguments so that we hope we could convince them)..

Ok the idea is: make silkroad pay to play game !
Before starting to flame and say "OMG , are you crazi?!?!?!", just think: think about wow: what do you think that makes wow such a good game?
I tell you: the thing that they have no goldbots, they can enter in no time, they can enjoy the game because it is very balanced(keep reading to understand what I mean with balanced)..
Ok so lets say that joymax imput a tax of 10$ per month to play this game? maybe you would ask: "but how would that stop goldbots?"...simple: if you have to pay 10$ for an account per month, we know that on one account you can use just 1 char at a time...so gold bot companyes CANT pay 10$ for every goldbot that is fighting for them....so this mean that NO GOLDBOTS, and FREE servers....You pay 10$ per month, but you know you can enter in game whenever you want, and you can play in peace...and other thing, if no GOLDBOTS, you won`t be gelous on that "rich kids who gave their parents money on gold", kids that buy tons of gold and pwn you in pvp:)....
And now lets talk about the balance thing I told you in wow...why wont joymax stop selling silk stuff? if they take a tax of 10$ per month from every player, they wont need to sell silk anymore...SO, you pay 10$ per month...but you can enter every time, and imagine: you are all EQUAL: you dont go at pvp ground and get pwn just because the guy you fight with is a rich kid and have premium, devil spirit and so on...
I think that my(and my friend`s) idea is good, because we will get rid of goldbots and the game will be balanced...don`t everyone dream to a balanced game, where noone has an advantage at the start of the pvp?

and if you think this wont work because joymax wont make money...I just made a calculation, and let me tell you: with this idea, joymax will make a lot more money....because, If they change this: maybe in first months there wont be a lot of people...but I can garantee that in max 1 year, there would be at least 3000 players on each servers...3000 players to give 10$ tax and play this game in peace, more balanced and more funny than anytime before...
AND...if they keep the game like it is now, more and more people are stoped playing...there will remain only gold bots in 1-2 years in silkroad, and this means joymax to close...BUT, with my idea, more and more players will start the game, and the players that quited because of goldbots and server trafic will come back, because they will love the idea of a balanced and not crowded game...

AND NOW MY ASK FOR YOU GUYS IS: I want you to discuss on this subject: PLEASE all, tell your opinion about our idea, if you think it is good, if you are willing to pay 10$ per month if the game would be how be said, and so on...
AND BY THE WAY: I ASK ONE ADMIN IF YOU CAN PUT THIS TO STICKY, IF YOU THINK IT`S A GOOD IDEA AND A GOOD IDEA TO TALK ABOUT..

snickers...on 1 server, 3000 players to pay means 30.000$ on month...you think that joymax sels 300.000 silk on month on one server? I dont think so;)

Look at wow: THEY make 20 mil $ on month from monthly tax of play, and they DONT SELL anythink in game, such as premium, devil and other things we have in sro: weal, for them all is hapy: they make money so are happy, players play a fun and balanced games, so are happy too

Actually. Joymax has a system where programs scan the emails sent to them for key words and then reply with a pre-written message. Thats been proven here already.

Quite hard to pain through reading most of your posts. However, Care+JoyMax goes together as well as Peanut Butter+Cheddar Cheese. It's like saying used car salesmen have hearts...

Silkroad isnt a good game enough to P2P, no end game content, no things to do as a low level, they need to make this game muuuch better to be available to make it p2p.

Lulz, i thought this was a thread about JM announcing their plans to go P2P. Anyways, u know why WoW is p2p AND popular? cuz blizzard gives a shit about the game.

JM don't want to have responsible
If it's P2P, there are always ppl who are trying to sue JM because they pay for the game but the return is not good. In F2P, you are not obliged to pay, you can't sue.

I enjoy this so much compare to the other online game.
Waiting 30 mins to a maximum of 2 hours to log in is fine with me
cause i don't buy anything from joymax. and i know im not the only one
who enjoy this game without paying. if it comes to P2P then sure many will quit this game but botters still can afford to pay as long as they
have gold buyers.

One thing if this game will turn to Pay to play then they must also consider how far are you going to grind to reach the cap and that's suck if you pay for the game and u can't reach the max level.

This is the only game where you only enjoy playing if you are high level enough to join some war or PVP.

WoW is very different as compared to SRO.
U can b capped in WoW in less than a month.
U will never b capped in 6 mths for SRO even if you bot 24/7.

If they really changed it to P2P.
It basically means they have to revamp iSRO.
More Quests, less SP/EXP requirement for every lvl and skill.
Change item mall, add more end game contents.
In case you didn't know. Grinding is SRO's content.

Do you know how many ppl are working for Blizzard? Just to monitor and run WoW? Much MUCH MUCH more than JM had for iSRO.

If JM really take that step, it basically means it has to spend ALOT of money... Which they might as well just develop a new game.

If you haven't notice,
1) Quest at low lvl are worth doing, high lvl quests give you so little exp, its not worth doing anymore.
2) The amount of time and effort required to be capped in iSRO is simply not achievable. Ofcourse its possible, but that person either need to be a bot, or he has no life other than playing sro.

I hope you know there isn't just 3,000 players per server. There is probably 30,000 different people that log in to a server throughout the day. They definitely sell more then 300,000 silk. Probably around 1million silk per server per month.

If SRO is gonna be officially P2P then i'm not in.
I can't afford to pay 10$ every month.
And i think when it's P2P, there won't be 3k players in each server.
But when there are non-gold-buying playas only, then the goldcompanies would leave, cause no one is buying gold.
That's what the problem is.

You seriously cannot afford a mere $10 a month? Dude, most of the Silk buyers drop anywhere from $50 to $200 from what I've seen, at least talking to the high levels who have multiple (and most likely, botted) accounts.

Honestly, go for a different game. I personally enjoy Aion Online (yes, I know there are a few goldbots there too [same holds true for many other MMO's], but its not even close to being as bad as SRO is, and even then, its fun Rifting to the other factions side and getting Abyss Points killing them.)

If that game isn't to your liking, there are other MMO games out there, I think Guild Wars is F2P but I'm not too sure on that as I've never played it. There are a ton of games out there, don't limit yourself to this game that has been dying a very slow death since the 90 cap.

Hell, FPS games are also good fun
