shampoo/conditioner

Post by Jstar1 »

Is there a certain shampoo brand or certain shampoo for guys that you guys recommend? I'm tired of buying generic cheap ones and am thinking about taking care of my hair better and also smell better too (or at least not smell at all)

thanks

I've seen many girls spend more money on cosmetic creams that don't work and come in smaller quantities.

This.

Although, i heard somewhere that if you wash your hair with beer it makes it really shiny. Try that instead of conditioner. Guaranteed to make everybody call you an alcoholic too!

Little known facts about shampoo.. xD

Shampoo is a hair care product used for the removal of oils, dirt, skin particles, dandruff, environmental pollutants and other contaminant particles that gradually build up in hair. The goal is to remove the unwanted build-up without stripping out so much as to make hair unmanageable.

Shampoo, when lathered with water, is a surfactant, which, while cleaning the hair and scalp, can remove the natural oils (sebum) which lubricate the hair shaft.

Shampooing is frequently followed by the use of conditioners which increase the ease of combing and styling.

hahaha kind of..both questions just came up at about the same time. And I couldn't stand the smell of that generic flower/fruit smelling stuff that my mom or dad bought. I think I'll try out head & shoulders since a lot of you guys are recommending it. But yeah your right woutr I'm putting more attention into my appearance before I head off to college

I actually tried working out last year but I just kind of stopped. This time though, I'm trying to do a lot preparation with a workout schedule and making sure I'm using the right form, etc. so that I can really gain more muscle mass and also be able to stay motivated working out.

If you want to be more motivated with the workout, do something you enjoy. Maybe light with high repetition weight lifting combined with some outdoor aerobics activity - jogging, roller blading? Or maybe something sports related - kickboxing and boxing are a lot of fun. And you have people to help motivate you there as well (more like physical torture but still...)
