everyone chooses to bash on the things Joymax hasn't done or has little to no control over, but god forbid someone makes any type of appreciation torwards them for the efforts / accomplishments and events, they get thrown into the street with such negativity as saying its useless , pointless , they suck etc

"Silkroad" is not just limited to ISRO, Joymax owns cSRO & kSRO and I play both versions of that as well, maybe you guys should try it and see what silkroad is really like

oh and since you asked, I play every single day actively ,
participating in Capture the flag events, job wars & PVP , basically party grind with all my friends and union members for all 5 hours of my premium + , wake up at 3am to play fortress wars , or maybe just login to chat with my friends in my guild & Union ..
gameplay is how YOU make it ,

you can choose to ignore the goldbots that will never leave (make use of the block chat feature), or you can sit on forums and bitch about something that wont ever change, WoW + so many other MMORPGS have just as many, if not more goldbots then silkroad does also, as for player bots..well every game will have them and that aspect of gaming is now a part of gaming , accept it as it is unstoppable.. but the 25k+ bot bans show that they at least hear our protests and try to make strides towards smoother legit game play.
people need to choose looking past the negatives and try and make THEIR game play as fun as possible.. it seems to be working for everyone else without the constant bitch and banter of kids just like the ones in this thread
they need to make silkroad pay to play per month. ( not just through item mall items)

I don't see why people are crying and complaining about this Halloween event. Sure, it's a bit different than prior events, but different can be good. What's the alternative? Hunt for jewel boxes, hand them in, and hope for a witch/wizard costume? I don't know about you, but I get bored pretty quickly wearing an avatar outfit. It just sits there on you making you look different. It doesn't really DO anything, unless maybe the let you put some blues on it... so then you get a slight boost for some of your stats.

I've heard of some versions of SRO having Independance Day (USA) events with fireworks and the like in town. Did everyone cry about that? From what I've read of this Halloween event, it's not just find candies, hand them in, and get bombs you throw at people. There are other prizes too.

If you don't like it, don't play. Just let the people who like it enjoy it.

Come on guys, this is like the first creative event of JM in YEARS, and you complain about not getting free avatars? As long as they don't give out free premiums, i would be happier about every creative event than about a crappy jewel box event with a few free avatars.

Totally agree and like the idea, it will be huge fun - at least for me. The only event prize that I miss badly is MSS & Pandora box. Silly things, like this upcoming event reminds me of GW.

OT: I see this event as - you'll have bomb in your inventory, you'll target the player and double click bomb, there will be no animation nor character will turn towards his targeted character, the bomb will just fly to your target, and he will be KDed for 3 seconds, I dont expect it to be anything fancy to be honest.

rofl if you have logged on sro you would know JM's doing NOTHING!! There are about 300 goldbots everytime I go into Hotan, it's so easy to spot them, a lot of them just stand at one place for 10minutes, if they wanted to try trust me it's not something they would have much of a problem controlling. As to the 25k bot ban they didn't really try. JM's bot detector was the source to that ban, and the stupidity of the botters. The bots were simply outdated after the update and people tried to use them and got banned! JM is doing nothing, but I don't care cause nowadays most MMORPG's are like this but I just hate it when someone things they are trying.

It does sound a bit entertaining. Hey, sometimes when I get bored in SRO, I'll throw a fire buff on myself (chinese) and run circles around some other player while shouting "HEY I'M A BUFF!" in all chat. Or I'll just run around singing some song in all chat, things like that. Does it accomplish anything? No. I still do it sometimes.

I don't have to level up and get uber-powerful gear to have fun.

I don't think that's really necessary. It doesn't always have to be about leveling faster. Then again I guess I'm forgetting that everyone likes to race to cap just to whine and cry for a cap raise so they can race to it again by any means possible. It's a vicious cycle.

Wouldn't say so, I've been getting more 500 HP/MP increase scrolls than usually, aleady made 2 mil winigns.
But i hope they would do avatar event again, with some old avys

one thing i dont like about the event, you can only turn in one candy at a time so you have to go through the whole process of talking to the so ok and licking 3/4 times to get one event item. Just takes alot of time
