Modern WarFAIL 2? [PC] - [BOYCOTT]

This should be no suprise the simply fact is even though PC gaming made alot of these companies who they are today and gave titles such as COD the push and support that made them into the games they are today, console gaming makes them more money than PC gaming in todays world.

There are alot of companies that are focusing more on the console side of a game rather than the PC side it was even evident in COD4 that it was a console shooter rather than a real full blood PC FPS so its not suprising that they go and **** it up even more.

Companies complain about piracy and say how it hurts the PC gaming market.... well they do alot more to hurt it when they do shit like this..... PC gaming is far more advanced and well developed than console gaming and always will be.... if it wasnt for PC gaming 99% of these companies wouldnt even exist... they just need to start showing some respect to the people that made them rather than the 13 year old kids that do nothing but call each other **** and racial slurs while they play.

They take one step forward in moving to VAC over PB and then seemingly run a mile backwards with getting rid of dedicated servers.... do they not realise that most people dont have the capability to host games on client side machines.... I would love to know who the **** does the reseach for infinity ward because he needs to be Farking fired.

I played socom 2 - 3 on the ps2, and a bit on the ps3.. trust me it's better like this. You will lag alot less.

socom always had sony's dedicated servers, MW2 will only have a matchmaking server that connects people together then 1 of them will be host. That is how the consoles have been doing it.

I think it's dumb that some kid with a pentium 4, 512mb and a 6600gt will probably be the host of most matches even if he gets 5 fps.

Oh okay, I understand.. If that's the case, then I won't even be playing this game online. I thought they were hosting the servers, and we just connect to them.

They aren't even focusing on PC games anymore.

The servers will be started by one person but handed off to the person with the best upload speed. The shitty pc will not be the host.

I think it's pretty stupid to whine about how companies want to make money whitout caring about the rights of consumer. The meaning behind company is to earn money. Nothing else. If you are not satisfied with the products don't whine about it. Just leave it to the market shelf.

If you have every played xbox live titles they NEVER give host to the person with the best connection.
Example, Halo3. I played with a few people in a matchmaking game and shots were being dropped left and right. After we all invited each other to a theater to see who was most likely the host. Out of the 8 ppl there, 7 were from usa and 1 was from europe. Of course the game said the euro guy had the best connection and should be host.

I mean... there will still be servers and you can still play multiplayer... it makes no difference if its the old dedicated servers or the new system. does it ?

Good companies realize that there is no business without customers.

Bad publicity is a nightmare for new products as well. Especially when they spent all that money on advertising and hype.

just because ur level 70 or w.e on cod doesnt mean ur any good. just could me u played it for a long time. so match making ranks is gna do nothing to the game. just make it more frustrating for the noobs when theres no1 to play with

Put it in the right directory.. first in /pb/ other in /pb/htm/

Then it should work, you might need to download and run pbsetup

After that, PB will definitely work.

If you're using Vista/Windows 7, you need to download the sound driver fix, make sure a mic is always plug in when you launch, or disable you front panel mic; otherwise it will crash.
