Are there any Legits left in this game?

there's still a bunch of legits on venus
and everywhere also i guess
most non botting players dont walk around wearing a "legit" badge and insulting everyone else, you know.
some use a loader only
some dont use any 3rd party program, sometimes out of simple ignorance
most importantly, many players see no point in botting.

"legit" is a label, and a war one : it means "you cheaters shouldnt be here and we're so much better than you".
most people who dont bot dont have that stupid attitude.

in the end, "legit" fits to stuck up better than thou bigots more than to anyone else.

besides, the "legit" concept makes little sense in SRO anyway because the "legits" are the ones who have an advantage over the others.
3rd party programs in sro dont give you (like in plenty of other games) overpowered items, super-powerful hacks (god mode, speed mode etc) and so on.
these hacks justify the use of the "legit" label in usual games in order to keep a fair competition among non cheaters.

in sro you dont get any superiority for cheating, except to _grind_ and to counter stealth/invis as far as i know.

Legits are superior because they do play their build and they do so in real parties. And that's what gives a superior advantage in SRO : euro parties.
So as it's a win win deal for the legits, they shouldnt be proud of it. It's easier to be legit than to be botter, seriously.
You'll level up faster with a bot that's granted, but you wont be able to play your char well except if you are a good hardcore gamer. Whereas if you spend all your gaming time doing parties, you are at least a decent party player and you end up knowing your build.

Good luck little legit pvping against an army of sun-out ppl. You have to work your but off to get enough gold for maybe a 10d sos set, they have an army of gold bots to get themselves full sun items. They have unlimited elixirs to try to make a +9 set. A legit knows how to hand grind and pvp at a lower lvl. A botter will get to 100 ff, than spend the rest of his time pvping until he gets better.

I'm still not sure how Venus managed to keep itself bot-free for so long. Woulda expected botters to just cap out and get sunned and pwn them. Only advantage really of a legit would be euro partying.

At this point, WHO CARES?! Good grief, even after all this time you people still come up with the same argument day in and day out. The truth is, and I know its hard to swallow it, is that 99.6% of the SRO population bots. The Venus "Legits", were dicks to everyone, and got what they deserved -- regardless if they were legit or not.

Honestly, outside of this forum, do you really think anyone cares *HOW* you leveled your character on a corrupt Korean game? This place is the ONLY forum I've seen that makes such a big deal about HOW you level your character. Every where else, the attitude is like; "You botted? So what?" "You're legit? So what?"

I bet I can name off a bunch of botters here in SRF who are frequent posters instantly if I wanted to; there are some here that have been hiding in the shadows for a long time and others to back up my claims if I wanted it to come to that. But I won't, because truth be told; the so-called "evil, self-centered, hypocritical, thoughtless and cruel" botters at least attempt to treat others like human beings (obviously it doesn't apply to everyone). To me, I could friggin' care less if you bot or if you're legit; how you come off as an individual person is what matters to me. It's become very apparent from reading old threads/posts that a lot of these banned "evil and cruel" botters have actually helped out many people on here with their builds, how to play in PvP, how to job successfully; etc. I have only seen a few of that kind of help from the legit's...

You know, it's funny to me when I see legits complaining about not being able to level up. Here is one bit of advice... stop PKing other (bots) and start focusing on leveling -- no, scratch that: Stop focusing on the negative all the time. If you had spent as much time and energy trying to level up instead of coming here to CONSTANTLY whine, you would be one-up on the botters.

But wait, you can't level because you can't find a party to level up with? Grow a pair and form one, at the same time it will help you with basic leadership skills. Shit worked for me, and I was able to take something useful out of a game that can just as easily be applied to real life. What better reward than that?

Can't understand Turkish/Arabic/German? Try taking up the language, or at the very least use a Translator. I know those thing's aren't 100% accurate, but at least you'll establish some type of rapport with them. I tried it, and believe it or not, I've made some pretty good Turkish friends on this game even though I'm American, simply because I gave a damn enough to try to communicate with them in their language. If they can communicate with us (however bad their English may be) or at least give a damn enough to talk with us in English, we should at the very least extend them the same courtesy. Who knows where it might lead you...

Not all Venus legits were dicks but I realized in my time spent on tSro with hem, that most of them were.

I've met Fly before and all his friends; seen their good side and the bad side. Unfortunately I saw more of his bad side and many followed suit out of fear. is it a interactive movie of some sort or some entertainment system?

we dont care how other people level. we couldnt care who botted 2bh. the only thing we do care about is the fact bots have abused there game play and are just turning it into a movie creating 10 bots EACH.
i want to talk to 3000 legits on silkroad. i dont want to talk to about...300 bots that are afk most times or monitering there other bots...

this is a game, the point of a game is to entertain. every1 should have fun, not just the "dickheads" in venus.

I highly doubt they died out, I'm sure there are still some who try their best to keep playing since it IS a pretty cool game. The percentage of of people who play by the rules? who knows, maybe plenty more than people think. Atleast I'd think so, but I'm merely a hopeful so meh.
