Yea like I live in America... and not much has really changed.

1. He became president.
2. They get happy and really crazy about it.
3. People go back to their lives.
4. Nothing much major has happened since then...

Yea pretty much only thing happened was he became the first black president.

I actually thought this was a joke at first, I mean come on...Does he really deserve it now?

would've if he didn't spend as much time carpet bombing as he did trying to make peace...

Obama said he was surprised and deeply humbled by the honor, and planned to travel to Oslo in December to accept the prize.

"Let me be clear: I do not view it as a recognition of my own accomplishments, but rather as an affirmation of American leadership on behalf of aspirations held by people in all nations," he said at the White House. "To be honest, I do not feel that I deserve to be in the company of so many of the transformative figures who've been honored by this prize."

Obama will donate the $1.4 million cash award that comes with the prize to charity.

I believe he Obama did not deserve this peace prize on the premise that he hadn't done much to promote peace, because anyone can talk, but only a few men can take action. And the actions that he has taken since his presidency was increase the fight in Afghanistan, prolong Guantanamo bay's closure, "talk tough" with "enemy" nations while giving the green light for Israel to hold their nuclear weapons and he has been working hard for months now on domestic issues.

This is not deserving of any sort of prize.
