Silkroad - Mac problems

Hello all, I have downloaded crossover games and silkroad is working on my Mac but I'm still having problems, I followed a guide and installed SRO through the crossfire program and it worked fine even followed instructions to get rid of the white screen. However, i'm finding it is quite laggy and after a while the game freezes, this freeze is random sometimes it occurs after 10mins, sometimes an hour. But it always happens. However, I know that I stay logged in despite the freeze, I dont get logged out just everything stops working and the screen is stuck.

Any tips or reason why this could be happening, also sorting out lag. I'm running it on a new mac book pro which is less than a month old, I would've thought that could handle it. Still any help would be greatly appreciated!

it could just be an error with crossfire

HOW DO YOU REMOVE THE WHITE SCREEN!!!!! THATS MY MAIN CONCERN! (i use mac and crossover games, the white is bothering me at the login screen)
