Alps server looking up to exciting FW

if you ever catch me botting then i will give you my brand new £400 pc, both my guitars and all my amps and effects. my tv. surround sound. and my girlfriend.

my name is Veku on aege and Penfold on uranus or IdHitThat or Bard_Penfold.

the reason im so anti bot is because i moved to sro after my cod2 clan split up. i lost all of my friends from there because i didnt stay on cod. then every legit i knew on sro went. in the early days, the best days on sro... all of them on that server went to WoW appart from my 2 friends who now bot on uranus because it was my brothers stupid idea to suggest following the rest of us. every time i go round there house 2 give me a lift i see multiple sro's open with bots on it.

bots are what caused every1 to leave on sro. the economy.. the community... the unique hunts... the trading...the hunting...thieving... the fair pvp's... and pretty much the game play.

i finally found one of the best games there is only to watch it get ruined by the increasing number of bots.

I will never ever bot. i made a promise to those who left silkroad to remain one of the only legit players left to play the game (on aege union i was in)

penfold1992 nice rant, if you want i can vouch for you getting your own thread where you can rant to everyone and anyone. Even better! Go write a blog SRO's own perez hilton! But please I get that your truelly worried about the botting matter, but you should also realise its ruining the forum little by little. I mean whats the point in making every thread about botting and saying you'd give away all your properties if someone ever found you botting? I just want to be social and share something of whats happening on my server. Is it too much to ask to just say; nice or i dont care or to even ignore the thread?

It was a fun fortress war however the numbers where a bit unfair. TearDrop had way more people online and basically dominated from the start. From the spawn into fortress war TearDrop started killing off DG union members so that they couldnt go to the fortress itself. It took eventually 28minutes to take the fortress of Death_Gods/_TubeSnake_ union. After that TearDrop basically ran outside not giving them a chance to even organise or get to a gate. It was a fun war and after 1 year and 2months Alps server finally got a new owner of Fort. Well its not a new owner its the same owner from the first fortress war on Alps.
I will post some screenshots tomorrow, some friends will upload a couple of videos on it. Lag was great as always.

TearDrop Union (Old) was the first union to ever get fortress on Alps in december 2007,
TearDrop Union (Old) lost it the 7th of august in 2008 and the union died,
TearDrop Union got reformed the 3rd of august in 2009 and prepared 2months,
TearDrop Union (NEW) took fortress war the 1st of october in 2009 after almost a year of absence

Lol Td, Ts unions legit? There is no discussion possible about those 2 unions being legit. There was like 1 legit guild in Alps but the ''big'' unions .. 100% bot/goldbuyers.
