I used to watch youtube crip/blood walks myself ( don't know the difference though ), but it's with friends practice that makes you better. Youtube can teach you yeah, but as I said you'll see plenty of same moves same pattern ( even almost same THING as the previous vide you see ). There's plenty around in youtube I'm sure, and also I've noticed plenty of other " moves " not included anymore to the new way people crip walk.

or maybe that's just me since I used to watch them from '01 to '04 when I tried...

yeaah, not gonna happen. Unless he was wearin' blue or black and playing some crip music, then I'll consider it just clown walk; or c-walk. Around where I live, when someone says "crip" everyone affiliates it with gang activity.

crip walk is not concidered as gang activity anymore.
Imo its a kind of dance thats getting along with any kind of culture

Nah, guess I worded my sentence wrong. I was saying the word "crip" is affiliated with gang activity nowadays, not the action of c-walking. Since a lot of people used to, and still do it, you can't assume all of them all in the gang; and not to come off as racist, but when you see a lot of other races beside blacks doing it, society tends to pay less attention to it.

edit: it's not a "dance," it's basically spelling out Crip and possible add-ons related to blocks and such. Most who bang these days are teenagers (which was the same 30-40 years ago when LA gangs rose up) who only get into the business to fit and not feel left out, days of drug trafficking, serious crimes, tax control based on area of control etc. is rare in today's gangs. It's more of just "repping" your block and beating down other "thugs" at school/mall/park etc.

Using now as a dance doesn't really make sense. It has meaning which is how it came to be.
