Poting tutorial

Post by TheSpy »

Code: Select all

Just found it on the rev6 forums. Everybody should wait it, especially those who set their potions to 95%+.

Btw... why is my IP (92.37.85.226) blocked from the forum? The reason it states is BOT. I'm currently at school, couldn't visit the forum, because I'd have to DC from Silkroad otherwise (it's pain to login these days).

only thing i noticed on the hp race is that after the initial low hp, nothing else takes hp out :D

so using high % to spam hp in a large fight where you keep taking damage is still smart :D

If he were found out to be a botter, his account would have been banned as well, but seeing as he can login at a different computer just fine, he probably just shares an ip with a banned user.

For those who have harder time understanding, this is what I've understood:

Total Health of level 100 Glavier: 44557

First test:
4 Health Bars:  A1, A2, A3, A4
Starting health: 17824
A1 - (Number_Of_XXL_Pots: 1) || Health recovered to 31292
A2 - (Number_Of_XXL_Pots: 2) || Health recovered to 43672
A3 - (Number_Of_XXL_Pots: 2) || Health recovered to 44557 [MAX] (note: time is exactly the same as A2)
A4 - (Number_Of_XXL_Pots: unlimited) || Health recovered to 44557 [MAX] (note: time is exactly the same as A2 & A3)
Conclusion: Two HP pots have same effect as unlimited amount of potions spammed in 1sec interval.

Second test:
4 Health Bars: A1, A2, A3, A4
Starting health: 18180
In this test, we compare potion use delays.
A1 - (Delay_Of_HP_Pots: 0.5sec) || Health recovered to MAX in same time as A2 & A3.
A2 - (Delay_Of_HP_Pots: 1sec) || Health recovered to MAX in same time as A1 & A3.
A3 - (Delay_Of_HP_Pots: 2sec) || Health recovered to MAX in same time as A1 & A2.
A4 - (Delay_Of_HP_Pots: 4sec) || Health recovered to MAX few seconds after A1, A2 & A3.
Conclusion: Health pots shouldnt be on 1 second delay :P

Thrid test:
2 Health Bars: A1, A2
Starting health: 18180
In this test, we compare XXL HP potion and XXL HP + XXL Vigor potion's speed of recovering health.
A1 - [XXL potion] || Health recovered to MAX in exactly the same time as A2.
A2 - [XXL potion + XXL Vigor] || Health recovered to MAX in exactly the same time as A1.
Conclusion: Usage of two HP pots dont effect each other (unless its XXL + grain)

Forth test:
2 Health Bars: A1, A2
Starting health: 18180.
In this test, we compare which recovers healthbar faster, grain or XXL pot.
A1 - [XXL potion] || Health recovered to MAX faster than A2, but we can say the times are somehow similiar.
A2 - [Health Grain] || Health recovered to MAX slower than A1, but we can say the times are somehow similiar.
Conclusion: XXL HP heals faster.

Fifth test:
2 Health Bars: A1, A2, A3
Starting health: 18180.
A1 - [Health Grain + Vigor Grain] || Recovers health the fastest.
A2 - [XXL Health pot + Vigor Grain] || Recovers health second fastest.
A3 - [XXL Health pot] || Recovers health slowest.
Conclusion:Grains are fastest way to recover health.
Note: In video A2 recovered health fastest, but if the Health pool was bigger, then A1 would definetally take the cake.

Sixth test:
2 Health Bars: A1, A2.
Starting health: 18180.
A1 - [Health Grain + XXL Vigor + Vigor Grain] || By far the fastest way to recover health.
A2 - [XXL Health pot + Vigor Grain] || Recovers health slwoer than A1.
Conclusion:I've learned something here, using the regen-over-time from XXL pot, combined with the grain vigor & health spamming recovers health the fastest.

Final conclusions:

When an XXL pot is used, it has its time in which he recovers health.
If you add another XXL pot (any kind, vigor or health) it wont speed up the process.

Fastest way to recover health is by using combo.
XXL pot -> health & vigor grains -> health & vigor grains -> XXL pot ...
This is another discovery, and it gives advantage to chinese.

Exactly what the video is about.

And about my IP issue, works great again, seem like an IP my ISP gives me sometimes is blocked from the forums.
