Hey guys, I want to buy a new monitor as the one I have right now sucks.

I'm thinking of this one and it's on sale right now until 9/30:

That's an okay deal for a 20", I've seen better though. I'd rather spend another 30-50 and get a 22", which in my opinion it's the best price vs size..

I bought a 24 and I love it, but I sort of regret spending 280$ canadian on it which is considered somewhat cheap (then again I have 22 and 24 side by side so it wasn't needed >.>)

Well it depends where you live..how the economy was at the time and what quality monitor. Generally a 22 should be around 200 on a good deal for a nice quality monitor (TN panel obviously). a 24 good deal would be 250-299, 400ish for a much better quality though.

I got my 22 a year ago as well for 260 (a nice samsung) and that was kind of expensive.

i have the exact same monitor as in the link , my problems with it are that it gets finger prints near the power button if you press it a lot.

That one was nice, but ghosted a lot for me.

Decided on the ASUS VW246H. Good monitor, TN panel like all low cost ones but that doesn't bother me, don't do anything where colors have to be super accurate. Am enjoying it though, but my first one developed a line of pixels within 20 minutes, guessing it got knocked around and when it got warm, part of it lost contact with the panel. But the replacement works very well, definitely happy about it, with a little tweaking it looks even better. Only paid about $199 for it when it was on sale.

Well What I do is a convient one. I bought a HD tv with HDMI inputs, run my 360, ps3,pc, and such. I run my Cable through as well so you have HD Gaming, and Multimedia. A cool thing I did too was mount the TV to the wall and run all my devices through a closet to the side. I did have to do some drilling and staples to keep all the wires organized but it was all worth it for the organization and eye candy. I also put a movable glass windows so I can have easy access LMFAO. Buying a smaller HD tv may be the advantage ^_^ check it out.
