Im currently lvl 29 2h. Should i get the 1h skills are just leave them?

1h skills r gud to have for pvp and partying

My guildmaster said for best play, go with all three masteries (2h for pvp, axes for status, 1h for tanking/pt play)

I messed around with a level 20 warrior using 2h/axes and it is good, but works best on a server that doesn't lag when you weapon switch.
