Re: A Clockwork Orange
A good dose of ultra-violence; enough to give me images of the rape scene whenever I hear "Singing in the Rain." I have it on VHS lol.
Although the scenes in that movie are not as taboo as they were almost 40 years ago, the whole concept of a dystopian world from the film can still be clearly seen. However, I have to point out that even though Kubrick tried to make this as, for lack of better words, fucked-up as he can, they still had to censor certain parts from the original story, which was taken from Anthony Burgess' book - mainly, the rape of 2 young girls, which, if I recall correctly, were around the age of 10 (just a little FYI: that's where they got Alex's last name, "DeLarge" (you get the idea,) which was replaced by the infamous fast-forward sex scene with 2 consenting adult women.

I have a copy of the book collecting dust on my desk. Haven't read it yet.

Re: A Clockwork Orange
I thought it was dull. I can't believe I had to sit through the whole 3 hours of this POS for my English comp 2 class.
