2005 christmas jewel box event... great prizes, no grains ftw and npcing pandora boxes for 20k ftl...

You guys prob don't know but they gave globals in the Christmas Event, and I managed to get Santa suit, scrolls of all kinds, and several globals

The events kSRO gets (unique spawns/mob spawns, GM's Trading/theiving)
Pandoras boxes/Mob scrolls, back when you could go under hotan and let 20+ rip. Oh so much XP and fun that was.
I wonder how much those items are worth now xD, if any exist.

The events where you actually got good items...GDF, monster scrolls, pandora boxes...bring back the good stuff and delete those ridiculous ballons and lollipops - do they think we are a bunch of 10 year olds?

idiots were selling them for a few K's while the event was going on, oblivious to the fact that the inferior red grains were selling for 10k
that's mostly what i like in events : business opportunities
i should have stocked up on lollipops more:)
havent sold any yet, who knows what they will fetch now?

My favorite event ever was way back in the day.....GDF, Globals, Monster Scrolls, 1m Job Suits and Pandora Boxes all from Jewel Boxes. That was so much fun....too bad most of the fun left in SRO after 80 > 90.

I liked all events during my SRO career, I always focus on that at least we get something, even if that is not a big deal. My favourite event was '06 Easter event (monster scrolls, dodging/hit/trigger) and '06 Christmas Event (GDF, Pandora Box). Although So-Ok did not exchange GDF for boxes to me, prices were down and I could buy one for 2-3M. I really miss that event, I earned much money with buying and reseling GDFs. '08 Halloween Event was great as well, however managing those huge amounts of scrolls annoyed me a lot. The only thing I still believe in is that JM will do some decent Events again. Boxes and scrolls would be the best, those crazy summon parties can really boost moral in Guild/Union.

i was doing the GDF to make money for the GDF.. i didnt get any from so-ok but i grinded and got the boxes... got a load of 1m suits sold them and in the end i decided to NPC a trader hunter and thief special suit to afford a GDF.

then i was grinding and i found the special suits too

theyre still on Aege if some1 wants them xD

Yes those were great. Fun times with the guild opening pandora's boxes and monster scrolls in secluded areas so other people couldn't come by and steal our mobs. Sadly though I only got one GDF and one or 2 black devil suits. I did also get another GDF for my wife from a stall for 1 gold during that event.

No, my GDF is not for sale! I do have some Black Devil Suits though... for a price.
