[Guide] PK2 Edit: Avatar suits

Whats the code for the Samurai outfit? Can't find it. Also, might seem like a stupid question, but do have to have SRO closed when editing the PK2? I have the Samurai outfit and want to change into the Pirate outfit.

Body=Samurai Chest
Hat=Samurai Hat
ACC=Arabian Accessory
What you want
Body=White Pirate Chest
Hat=White Pirate Hat
Acc=White Pirate Accessory

oke, will work on it now, also, I'm going to assume you have a male character. Yes you have to have SRO closed to import the .txt . But you can edit the .txts while SRO is running, just cant put them in game. You can even extract things from the PK2 while the game is running. I'll work on your set as soon as I walk the dogs.

Ok, for some reason i fail all the time trying to modify my avatar So, could you please do it for me?

What I have:
Acc: ChingChu opera flag thingy (F)

What I want:
Acc: Darkknight Sythe (F) (I want to try out this acc to find out if it looks good with my blue arabian dress, so I dont want my body to be changed)

Yes, my character is female.

Download, and import both. The problem you were having was probably because Chingchu is in both 25,000, and 30,000, you were probably only changing one. You'll have to re-do you chest and hat though, because you didnt specify on those, all I changed was the ACC.

hmm... i got a problem :S
The pk2 works but whenever im at hotan the client closes :S
if it helps i pk2'ed my arabian to the samarai (i think thats how you spell it )

Could just be SRO going weird on you. Did you change all the Arabian suits? Or just yours. If you changed all 3 trying to find the one you had, you may have messed up a different one. My guess is somebody else in town is making you crash

i think i might know how to change the animation on angel wings.
You need to make the wings a part of your avatar.
You could try by following these advice.

The Wing dress is independant of the wings themselves.

There is a seprate file to add the wings, it is avataritemdata.txt
(media/resinfo/avataritemdata.txt)
it looks like this:

1 ITEM_MALL_AVATAR_M_ANGEL_WING_DRESS avatar_wing res\item\avatar\avatar_m_angel_wing.bsr 50
1 ITEM_MALL_AVATAR_W_ANGEL_WING_DRESS avatar_wing res\item\avatar\avatar_w_angel_wing.bsr 50
1 ITEM_MALL_AVATAR_M_DEVIL_WING_DRESS avatar_wing res\item\avatar\avatar_m_devil_wing.bsr 50
1 ITEM_MALL_AVATAR_W_DEVIL_WING_DRESS avatar_wing res\item\avatar\avatar_w_devil_wing.bsr 50

just add a line for your suit that u want to have wings... so its the pirate suit in this case.

so add

1 ITEM_MALL_AVATAR_W_PIRATE avatar_wing res\item\avatar\avatar_w_devil_wing.bsr 50

just that part. not the bsr. just that first section of the code with w.e you have and want to change to the wings

say... ITEM_AVATAR_M_HALLOWEEN
these are probably incorrect as i dont have the files on my laptop.
then boot up silkroad and see what the change is. what you should do after that will probably be obvious.

All credits go to Omniguy and penfold1992. BTW i don't think it works for the new avatars because it didn't work for my Arabian white suit .
