My honest opinion of Lady Gaga's appearance is "...meh."
Being different, fresh, what have you, is fine. But there's a point when you go a step too far and it's just tacky and embarrassing. People go from seeing someone as an innovator to seeing them as that weird person who wears those weird clothes who is just being weird for the sake of attention. Some people might see this as a good thing, but you can try too hard in this business, and Gaga is definitely doing that. So instead of seeing photos of her and saying "Hey that's neat, she's being unique." I end up saying, "Ehh... that's kinda... hmm." And I rest my face on the palm of my hand for a minute or two.
