lol, every post that is an attempt to show that joymax is trying or at least making some attempted effort , you weasel your way in and bash it somehow ..why do you even still play?..really.. you have nothing positive to say about the game and its staff.. maybe its time for you to make the switch to Aion or WoW

Well, I don't completely agree with him, but I'm playing WoW already and I'm going to try Aion also. I have to say that WoW is actually way better then iSRO imo.

You can't ever! say what the best mmorpg is. You can say what you prefer but you can't say which is best. I ain't saying that silkroad is the best game even though i love playing it. Wow isn't great for me. Too many quests, but that's only for me. That doesn't make the game bad for everybody else

They can't ban a single character without banning the entire account. If your character gets banned for botting, you can't even log into the account itself. You lose the other characters (legit or not) that are on that same account.
Joymax (in the past) simply listed the individual character that was banned for botting even though the entire account was banned.

However, as always, within maybe a few hours, a few days, sometimes a week or more: A) The Nerd geeks who make bots hit a breakthrough, and its back to normal

the reason for this thread..is because its taken now about 24 hours and the servers are still populated..so it is a step in the right direction, and no one here can say for sure if joymax is only going to do this once , or if its going to be a weekly thing until proven otherwise ( a.k.a - only time will tell right now)
the anti-bot movement has begun..even if it is babysteps, like it or not, joymax is showing us that they are trying..
for the sake of optimism people..

anyway its a nice move, cmon its passed more than one day and theres still no traffic at all, i feel soffy for lopasas; and well i believe him. JM bans random charswhich they r not used a lot. also as i know none has already a 14 days ban lol

Edit: I'll really believe Joymax is doing something right when they start banning high level player bots. Gold bot banning is great (although they keep coming back) but if a few lvl 90+ sun player bots get banned, it will be SWEET!.
There's one on Venice (I don't know if he has sun, but he's got to be pretty high level) who used to be the GM of a guild I was in. He constantly bragged about his bot 2 years ago. I logged in last night and he was still bragging about it. Would have been nice to see him gone...

Recently joymax made it so that people who legitimately conceal their own info, and havent purchased accounts would be able to safely change their password. This wreaked havoc on account buyers. What did joymax do? They did a roll back on EVERYTHING and blamed electrical problems. What about this makes any of you believe for any amount of time that this show of dishonosty and lack of integrity would lead joymax to PERMANANTLY BAN BOTTERS?!?! You people are rediculous.

I'm not sure what you're talking about there. Hasn't it always been easy to change your own password through email verification? When they removed that, and just relied on the secret answer, people started losing their accounts (purchased or not). So they put the email verification system back up. Personally, I don't see how the rollback HELPed account buyers. Maybe I just don't know what they rolled back from/to.
From what I saw, Joymax made some kind of change... People started 'getting hacked'... Joymax changed the system back. *shrugs*

no one will know your user name or secret answer without telling them. the roll back rolled back everything. password changes, items, exp sp. it helped place purchased characters BACK into the hands of the buyers. showing joymax's support for defying their own tos. i know you arent dense prom, infact youre quite the opposite. wheres this shit coming from?
