Wiz/Lock

Post by slytther »

So i noticed there's a new server out , and i want to start with wiz/lock , since there are some low lv party's when a new server opens..
And i think a wiz/lock will do well in party's, cause its like , debuff then do major damage..So what are you're opinions about it , and how well will it work out in Pve and Pvp..I think if done/played well i could pretty own right?? :P

Ty in advance ,

You have TERAGIGAMEGAUBERHIGH damage, why take warlock? :? If you haven't played a wizard yet DON'T go sub warlock... Go cleric or bard. I had bard sub my self = pvp ZERO! I'm pfarming at ongs a wizard/cleric now..
Its on you but I'd go cleric sub :)

Good luck

PvE, it can do fine... debuffs + sleep bug on giant w/ LC 'n zerk, it's down pretty fast ....that and disease (vampire touch / kiss) makes it so your wiz debuffs have an increased chance of success, too.

PvP, on the otherhand, yea...not so certain. It offers you more than bard would in the sense of the interruptions. Against holy spell users, you're pretty much fudged sideways unless you can get a stun on them before they finish you off....

For the non-immune peeps, easy to deal with...

semi-immune'll give you some problems....pill off your debuffs, have about 15 secs to redebuff 'em, immobilize them, and then hopefully kill them.

Well i have played lock/cleric and a wiz/bard both till at least lv 2x..
Why did i take warlock , cause i wanted to have a kind off unique build..I will mostly go Pve..It sounded fun to have a overpowered build in dmg..
And yeh i just like both builds so i'd make a combo off them and cause there aint much warlocks and tons off wizzes..I was thinking why not both , so that are my main reasons for picking lock as sub..

it is over kill, and can be done well if you know how to play it. if you can get a stun or slumber off its done game. if not your gonna have to play like a timid cleric with using vampire touch from cleric and such. it wont do bad in pvp if you can play it.
