How the hell do you log on?

Hello peeps. I used to be a hardcore SRO player till I quit a couple of years ago. Now I'm contemplating coming back to SRO HOWEVER whenever I try to log on the servers are always full. There was a time when I used to see the servers only populated maybe 1/4th of the day. But now the servers are always full.

Whenever I try to sign-in I get stuck with that auto-log in bulcrap which tells me I'm on a waiting list. Is there any other way I can login?

I remember when they had no waiting list crap. Even though it was hard to join at least there was that minimalistic chance of getting in first,second or third try into a crowded server. But now you always get wait-listed.

Is it still possible to try and log in manually?

Just turn it on and go afk...Check it after a few hours.

Or log on right after inspection and don't log out.

Or just buy silk, log in after inspection, buy prem, activate prem and done.

You shouldnt restart your client because its queue, and everytime you do so, you are last in it.
Login into .29 server, and you should get under 2 hours. (after inspection, login to .30 server, then you will get in faster, but .30 server is bugged right now - waiting for JM to fix it).

Damn when I tried logging on after I think 2 years, I thought that by adding the waiting list thing it's going to make it easier. But nooo, it just makes it even more annoying.

At least back in the days when there was no waiting list bulcrap if you were lucky you could log on in the 1st try. Now they've completely destroyed the luck factor.

I am trying to connect on server .29 and it's passed 13 hours and 24 minutes now .

Venus takes me usually 20 mins to 1hour to log in which isn't bad because well I wait i'm viewing forums or something =D

Been trying to log in the WHOLE bloody day and still no luck ! I can't believe it's become like this.

After two years I was expecting a change ! Woah this is crazy. At this time the servers were always populated around 2 years ago now they're crowded 24/7.

it puts you in a line and every 20 seconds it sends a signal to the log in server. if the signal does not reach the server in enough time you are booted. basically the log on server is doing all the work instead of being blasted by requests.

Okay seriously. People say shit like "just wait a few hours and come back, then you'll be logged in" like its normal for other games too. Does it not occur to anyone that thats an absurd amount of time to login?

Sometimes I think everybody should just wear a helmet.

Ofcourse it's not normal but I accept it cuz I like this game. If you don't like it, just gtfo then and move on to WoW/Aion/GW or some other f2p MMORPG. Besides, I usually have a prem so I don't have to wait anyways.

if i remember correctly wow has the same type of login system when there servers get full.
