removing outdoor carpet

Post by Disconn3cted »

The apartment I moved into has carpet on the patio and I never really paid attention to it until today. The carpet has mildew and when I pulled part of the carpet up it had a bugs living under it. The glue looked nasty and difficult to remove. Any advice?

Remove it straight away, carpets and water really don't mix. Pull the carpet up, and try and remove the glue, sorry not sure what is the best way to remove the glue though.

Rip the carpet up and get the rest of the crap off with a chisel or something.

Better yet, use a sharpened putty knife.

Those things are great for getting stuff like old glue off of things.
