Ok im really new here. i used to play sro a few years back. give or take. Recently used last bit of my gold in an attempt to get some levels due to lack of time. I came to find out that All 7 people i tried over a period of 4 days were turkish. i bet you can guess what happens next as i read in the forums im not the only one who feels this way. I was scammed the first time, i gave the money then they just left...refused to answer. Second time i paid again (different person) and they just said i didnt pay started swearing at then spammed me with many messages and trade requests. When truth is i paid a little more than they asked for as well as paid for one of my friends...they also spammed my friend with demands, trade requests, and insults. Now mind you...the character who i am trying to level was 22 and didnt have but maybe 1 mil which i spent all of it only to be scammed. (whats the point of scamming a level 24 for there last dime????) Now heres my point.....the more i read the more i come to see how many people dislike the turk attitude or way.... however you put it....So let me just ask you, how many of you feel that joymax needs to step in, weather it be blocking ips, ggm reporting, you name the method. Just something needs to be done. Please give your feed back, and turks flame away but all that i have stated is true and is felt by others who you have scammed, insulted, and mistreated. I do not have any intentions of coming across as a bigot. I merely am asking others opinions on what should be done, why this is happening, and why they are getting away with all the rule breaking.

not the main point of the arguement here. my point was, why do turks feel the need to be decietful? i understand scamming happens....but from what i have heard a LOT of turks do it.... From my understanding you seem to be justifying the scamming. Lets think about this for a minute... If a whole group of people ex. turks dont feel any consequence is taken for there actions, who is to stop every one from doing it? So yes you can say it was my fault but you totally missed the point of the post. All you really did was attmept to make some one either look bad, or justify the actions of turks. either way its not the point here

LOL don't get mad, if you look at it from a sociology perspective, it's no surprise that they behave that way. They can't help it, it's part of their upbringing. I'd say that how they behave in game is a reflection of how they behave in real life. I would expect the same behavior from anyone who lived in a country with a low corruption perception index.

i tried at least 30 people on troy, all 100% turks and all 100% scammed, either half time, instant ban or they just quit, and im not racist here, they were all 100% turkish
only way to get plvled is to get it from an english player, someone you know, or do it yourself

I believe the powerleveling is the worst update from Joymax, bar none. I am completely against the concept of powerleveling.

Anyways, I also think over the years, Joymax should ban all turkish IPs and just give them their own server.

i had similar situacion on alex few months ago. lost cca. 5mil on that kind of scamm. Now as someone of u mentioned i grind myself or in extreme cases i go to "english, german or even egyptian" taxi. i know that someone will say egys r the same, but trust me egys r so much different then turks. so my point is. go grind urself or got to friends taxi

this is why we dont play no more.. i got fed up of it too that was one of the reasons i quit.

theres a possibility you can convince a english guy to turn legit. however... turks are impossible and ive never met a fully legit turk appart from 1 who got hacked and turned bot...

i wouldnt call it mad i may have misused the word. i would more like call it confused, frustrated, and overall disgusted. i mean i know its a game, but if i didnt pay money for it for a prem, spend time and work on it, maybe i wouldnt be so upset with the way its turning out

As a mature Turkish person, i gotta say that people who aren't Turkish are not the only ones who got effected by those idiotic children. For last 4 years, internet connection became very easy to access in Turkey, you just have to bear with it. Just ignore them, dont care what they say, dont answer to them, dont join their parties and dont trade/sell/buy anything.

Because of the excuse "I do it because everyone else do it too". It also happens with the botting community. This pathetic and lame excuse generally leads to the downfall of a society, ppl won't have for themself their own definition of good/bad and own belief, they had to follow the belief of the majority.

I've been treated poorly by english speaking player, spanish speaking players and turks. This is a free game thats international, poorly moderated, and poorly designed. It attracts the children who don't know any better and anonymity turns people into assholes...even the english speaking people here...

In virtual world, ppl express their true self. Generally they express the bad side because there is no law could stop them. Unlike in real life, the freedom, also knows as the true nature of human, is limited by laws. Even insulting someone, you could be put to jail.
Therefore, I believe how you act in game reflect what you are in real life, even if they try to be nice because they don't want to be judge by laws

you say that you are different in a virutal world.... well thing is even though you can be different in a virtual world, most mmo players i know dont go out of there way to SCAM or disrespect EVERY one they deal with. Maybe its because most of them are canadian, american, or british, and a few aussie. Point being, only people i have ever truely been scammed by on such a LARGE scale are turks. Not trying to be racist, but i dont see how a whole group of people even though they claim to be children can be brought up without morals. That may not make sense but lets think about it.... English speaking players are least likely to scam correct? So, if we can have morals, treat people right, and behave decently.....What makes them exempt???

ALSO some one said something about being treated poorly by english speakers... too tired to quote it. This can be true, but lets consider the odds. Who would i trust more, one person who is fluent in english, or a turk? i Mean the odds are MUCH higher when dealing with turks to be scammed or mistreated.

People scam because it's easy with so many brainless guys out there. And it doesn't matter if the scammers are from Turkey, USA, China or Hong Kong because it's always scammed's fault.

Why don't we just all quit iSRO, make JM realize what ..... they really are, go to ECSRO or another Private Server, and play SRO how it shouldve been in the first place. When JM has no more silk buyers and gold buyers, they'll then realize what they did wrong. iSRO is turning in to a big ball of corruption and will never end unless a big change happens. you see the little changes and nothing happens.
