It's a normal term in hiphop, and I don't know why you're only quoting me because the poster I quoted said the very same word. I don't know what's even funny about it soooooooooooooooo..

What genre was I talking about? Besides that I don't reside in an English speaking country, so the only English I actually hear is through movies/music. That way hiphop terms sometimes come to my mind faster than the normal words. And as last, you know what I mean, so what's the big deal?

I just googled it, I read that it WILL BE RELEASED(for the ones whining about "dropping") december the 15th. Other websites said the end of this year so it'll come out quite soon anyway

Hip hop sounds horrible.
Hip hop clothing looks ridiculous.
Oddly everyone following hip hop culture losts their ability to speak properly (I'm not saying that I can speak proper English which I really can't but atleast my Finnish sounds proper.)
And the lyrics are not that impressive. (Neither are some rock songs lyrics but still)

Even though I dislike hip hop I give a +1 to this.
You can't diss another guy's style and defend your own with 'it's only my opinion that counts'. Probably because it doesn't.
I agree about the lyrics though as Ben Croshaw once said, it's either about guns, or about women, or guns shooting at women lol

I'm pretty sure everyone read your opinion about hip hop in the other 50 hip hop related topics. You don't have to say your opinion if it's uninformative and based on your own 'facts'. When I see a hip-hop based topic I avoid it, so the only reason I see you posting in them is attention seeking

Somehow people like to bash hiphop more than any other genre (not referring to you now). I can't blame them tho because the hiphop that you hear on the radio or see on TV is about nothing mostly. There's still hiphop out there that isn't about money and "bitches" tho. I respect your opinion, but please don't say it's all about guns and women, because there really is hiphop out there with a message. If you'd like I could pm you some songs as some sort of proof, I'm not going to take this topic even more off topic.

Uninformative? You could explain. And I'm not basing anything on facts (when it comes to hip hop) since it's only matter of opinnion. I'm just pointing out my opinnion.

This post is exactly why; it seems you don't even bother reading other peoples posts
But it doesn't matter, pointless argument is pointless

I do read other peoples posts. And I still don't see what's so uninformative. I could not state my opinnion more clearly. Ofc I could say more "bad" things about hip hop but I guess I made my point clear with those few examples.

gawd... the big fuss on the music genre cultures is so bothersome...

Just, listen to whatever you like, I personally hate Dutch music, but sometimes there's this one song that slips the cracks and becomes stuck in my head. If people would just get over their damn so called "pride" *cough cough* wannabe image *cough cough* and take their heads out of their asses they will see that there's nothing to be ashamed of if you find this one song between all the others songs you have that falls out. if you like it, listen to it dammit, don't let other judge your own opinion.

The only problem i have with people bashing hip-hop is that most of them don't know anything about it. They hear some songs on the radio and then they think that defines the genre. Im not saying hip-hop is doing a good job with its image and people can only judge from what they've seen but when you say things like "its either about guns or women or guns shooting at women" or something to that effect you do a diservice to the genre and your opinion becomes based on false ideas. Also because of mainstream hip-hops controversial lyrics its easier to bash on than other genres.

Personally i'd rather listen to T.I. asking me what i know about stuff than listen to Linkin Park scream/cry about problems they don't have/don't matter. I think the former is alright while anything the latter produces is a crime against humanity but i never try to bash an entire genre because if you go deep enough into almost genre to find the real heart and soul of it you'll probably find some good music there. I've even come across the occasional scream ballad that i find myself headbanging along with...

Its really hard to say that any music genre is bad. Music is at its core one of the rawest expressions of what lurks in the human soul and while there is alot of junk once you understand a good artist in a certain genre who perfectly expresses that aspect you will find something you like because on a certain level all people are capable of relating to all genres in some way. Those who choose to ignore it and box themselves into one particular genre are just ignoring whats already a part of them imo.
