Applying premium without actually being logged in

Basically I haven't played for a year - year and a half. I redownloaded the new client yesterday only to find that logging in is pretty much mission impossible. Don't know how Jm could possibly screw up the login any more than they've done with this new system but thats another story I guess. Launched the game and had it attempting to log in from 7am, when i left for work - 5pm, when i got home from work. Well, that didn't get me anywhere. And it even seemed to have stopped attempting to login so I had to quit the game and leave the queue I had just spent 10hours in, in the first place.

Now, as I browsed through the forum regarding the new login I realised there were numerous threads about this, thus I'm make a little twist on this one by asking if its now possible to activate premium ticket without being logged in? Because with a login system failing as bad as this one, that should deffo be possible. I just wanted to login and see if some old mates were on and feel up the game a bit again, but seeing as its mission impossible to get into the game its not really that tempting

Anyone can fill me in on exactly why they implemented this type of login if it doesen't really work? Haven't really found any information on this anywhere.

Hope to get some descent answers, this wasn't any troll'ish attempt to make yet another useless thread saying "login sux, screw jm". I'm simply after some answers that I haven't found elsewhere.

You can't activate prem without login in, BUT you was probably under a log in bug (If reguesting user confirmation txt won't appear every 20 sec, the auto login has stopped)

Oh and better chanche a log in server, copy/paste these lines to C/WINDOWS/System32/drivers/etc/hosts:

121.128.133.30 gwgt1.joymax.com
121.128.133.30 gwgt2.joymax.com
121.128.133.30 gwgt3.joymax.com
121.128.133.30 gwgt4.joymax.com

Works on me, always under 1h to get in

I read a thread regarding that hosts file and I did actually apply those lines there yesterday.

But in the example in that thread it had an IP infront of localhost.
Mine looked like this when I opened it:
::1 localhost

All the text above that was the same as the example posted in the other thread.

currently mine looks like this:
::1 localhost
121.128.133.30 gwgt1.joymax.com
121.128.133.30 gwgt2.joymax.com
121.128.133.30 gwgt3.joymax.com

Is it any necessity to have that ip infront of localhost? Logically it doesent seem to have anything to do with that at all tho, so im guessing not

As long as you dont restart client, you should get under 2-3 hours.
I log in daily, and thats the scenario.

I figured as much as it was a queue system, so I'm not restarting it. I did quit the game after 10 hours though, when ....Requesting user information.... stopped appearing. Figured it bugged out somehow.

Anyway, I'll be giving it some more attempts and see where that leads me. If i can't get in during these attempts I'll wait for server inspection and try to log in after server restart (if im available to do so). If that don't work I'll just give up.

Unless theres some other external issue that might cause it to take longer than normal to login?!? But considering I'm placed in a queue I can't see how it could matter if it was slow pinging their servers or whatever

Well i just got into the game now so im fine : ) Unfortunately it turned out i logged into the wrong account, so i dont have any of the chars i actually played on here ;D But whatever, thats another problem. At least i could get in, so im fine : )

didnt this situation occur for you, while there was image verification system:
you either enter wrong acc id and pw, or choose wrong server, then you press connect and in about 2 seconds you think:
GOD DAMN wrong acc/server, yea obviously im gonna get in now lol
and boom, youre in lol

I'm not sure if i understood you right there. But to clarify in case i did understand you right: The account name\pw i entered was a valid account, it was just not the account with the characters i really used to play on. So i got into one of my accounts, just not the one i wanted to get into

I do believe JM will one day implement someting for silk buyers over the login issue. But thats mayb N years later.
JM always listen n take action, they are just really SLOW in that.
