Let's celebrate that that bigass war started 70 years ago!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!
wait, what?
Calm down...and grow a brain. No one considers it a "celebration" and no one is happy. Its called an anniversary and they aren't always about happy things. There's nothing wrong with remembering the beginning of something where people lost their lives to defend their country.
70th years damm years past away like its nothing ... I hope heroes will never be forgotten . Im so happy i hadnt to see Those horrible Years , ppl screaming for help , Ppl running to survive ,, all thanks to a retard who ate Black Chocolad instead of white one .. dam it .
damn theres some quote im tryin to remember but it goes something like "war is a delight to those who have never fought in one" ... yah i saw it while playing cod4... so true
"Anyone, who truly wants to go to war, has truly never been there before"-Larry Reeves another good one was "Older men declare war. But it is the youth that must fight and die."-Herbert Hoover
What 70 years allready??I'm a big ww2 fan i love movies, games.Call of duty is my favourite ww2 fps game of all time, and Saving Private Ryan my fav movie
but seriously, r.i.p to everyone that fought and died in that war, whether they were soldiers or civilians. my grandparents fought in that war and i knew a old lady that was in a concentration camp.
I just love this thread on how America is 'stupid' and that we did nothing during the war. Imagine on how the outcome of the war would've been in the United States stayed out of the war. If we did not help out countries fighting the Axis, if Pearl Harbor didn't happen, or even winning the race with the atomic bombs. These are just some events that could've changed the entire war. The world would be an entirely different place to live in.
So you guys can go on arguing n such, but in the long run of WWII U.S. saved Europe.. in a way.
If being a loser means not playing Silkroad all day.. lulwut?

We DID save the world. I'll say this objectively - if you look at the situation prior to 1941, Britain was losing badly. Britain wouldn't have lasted 6 months without US aid. Even if the USSR absorbed the impact of the war, without US help, Britain was too weak and unprepared to face Germany alone. And with western Europe uncontested, the USSR would have certainly fallen as well. If the US didn't win the war in the Pacific, Japanese exploitation and aggression in Asia would have lasted until who knows when? So its foolish to think otherwise about America's pivotol role in the war.
