FYI, the comic business has been in the shitter for many years now. All of Marvel's profits have likely been from their films and marketing. Marvel being bought out means a chance for them to keep making money without ruining franchises with terrible movies and selling Spiderman underwear.

The comic industry is far from in the shitter...yeah they make alot of their money off merchandising but that hasn't stopped the industry from coming out with new innovative comics. Besides its like you actually believe that disney is going to make a profit on the actual comic books instead on the same movies you seem to hate only now instead of being concerned with bringing the character to life they'll just be focused on making money off toys.
Prepare yourself for a generation of cheesy super hero movies, the likes of which haven't been seen in Batman&Robin

Just because Disney owns Marvel now doesn't mean comics will stop being made. If the business wasn't in the shitter why would they go and sell out? How many comics have you bought in the last couple years? Last time I even spent money on actual comic books I was still in elementary school.
Things can't get worse than they already are. At least this way Marvel's characters will continue to exist.
marvel comics are at a all time low compared to DC Dc writers are just better. marvel story line suck marvel has ruined their superheros killing captain america. reveling spidermans identity to his foes. and so.

There is still a market for comics. Its smaller than it was before but that doesn't mean the market doesn't exist. Last comic i bought was the World War Hulk series and from what i hear they've sold pretty well. They aren't the only ones. I don't know why you seem to think this sellout was out of desperation to keep the company afloat. People don't buy desperate companies for 4 Billion dollars, what kind of sense does that make, they buy them for what they're worth. Turns out Marvel was worth 4 billion dollars, that doesn't sound like a company getting ready to keel over to me...

If you were the creator and you were offered 4 bil you would take it to.
depends what direction disney would take and your integrety
if disney tells you how they plan to push it forward and you agree with it then its a smart move that will do your fans justice
if they dont take it the direction you want to and take the money then you have farked over the company and your fans
but if your integrety is strong and you deny it your losing out on a lot but tbh 4billion is overkill name 1 thing you can do with 4bill that you cnt with say 800mil (random number not sure how much marvel is actually worth or how much they have that can be spent)
