I consider this as well as stuff like Blink 182 and Weezer under the

90's suburban white boy genre...its not really punk, its hardly music...but all the kids had never heard this kind of whining, complaining, yelling rock smashed with pop and so they, having nothing else to rage with, raged with this in defiance of their wholesome, upright, nothing to actually complain about lifestyle...
