Change Resolution to lower than 800x600 how?

Hey well ive got a crappy laptop and i was wondering if there is a way to run sro at a lower resolution say 640x480 if there is can u tell me how coz ive tried everything.

I dont know that you can. Defintly not with the games built in settings.
