Why aren't there that many Axe users?

I've noticed that Axe's are one of the least popular weapons in SRO.
Most of the time you see clerics/bards/warlock/warrior but I have rarely seen an Axe player in ISRO.
Are Axes that "dull"?

I only used axe skills on my warrior in pvp to give stun.

Axes are good

, just get a high + in one and use it..
but the only problem that it use chains (not 1 or 2 hit skill) , so crits doesnt get that "big" effect.. like 2h

Axe's are really good, was watching pvping a few hours ago and a lvl 100 warrior did 12k crit with the last hit on sudden twist with +7 axes on a lvl 99.

Because Warrior has three weapons, not only axes, and Warrior with only one weapon is fail.

for me, i chose 1h over axe cuz 1h had a shield and was a quick switch from warlock rod

not true to be honest.. you could always farm all 3 weps later on but people usually take 1 wep because they are starting brand new and dont have help for sp farming and or dont care for sro enough to make a wizard to farm up another char and all types of methods ._.

Thats true, but some people hate to farm alot, and if u can get a +7 Axe or more, with good stats.. that look enough.. (for people that wanna go axe, and hate farming >.< )

axes do low damage and dont tank as well as 1h even with the def and resistance passives, most warrior players just max the physical def passive and sudden twist to give stun/bleed before they switch to 2h.

well yea, only this. u have to be a total nolife to farm more than one weapon, having cleric as sub.

OT: 2h - axes are the weapons u need for a nice warrior, 1h useless imo. Still dunno but i think u can onehit few mobs with a nice 2h sword, but with an axe? well i never seen that. (talking abt ~same lvl mobs)

No.

The strongest build since the dawn of Europe has been & will always be Full Warrior/Cleric. If you're not rocking axes, 1h, and 2h you're doing it wrong.

Most euros are plvled anyway, at least most of the new ones, they're all 100 farmed.

And with the dmg, Axe has better DPS than 2h. 2h dishes more dmg but relies heavily on slow 1 Skill KO Moves + Crit while Axe though with No Dmg Buff and Crit Passive has fluid like combo/chain skills and good stun skills. So it really just depends on what you need...

No.

Nope, Full Warrior/Cleric Fails Miserably in comparison with an Int Warlock/Cleric, build-wise.

That's pretty much it. You either get some godly axes or you'll have a hard time killing. Full warrior is the way to go.
And those who dislike farming tons of sp would rather waste it on 2h since it kills faster.

Yep axes are mostly just used for bleed thats pretty much it bleed/stun

Most Warriors just lvl those, yeah... But now it would be useless against anyone with Max Holy Word/Spell. Bleed won't go through anymore.

I like the way the axes are wielded..it looks good..and its the only Euro build that slightly interest me..however after seeing and making an axe build my self I have to say a pure axe build is rather weak.

axes are a snow shield killer for anyone using over 50% snow shield...
so it'll be used more often at later caps
