Why would it be a fail? It has been developed for over 2 years.
Guild Wars was great success (in my eyes) with best PvP there is.

They are keeping 8-skills, which means strategy will be required again.

@mclagg, it probabbly should be released at end of 2010, but I expect beta this winter.
@sharp, story isnt that great(like in any other MMO), I enjoyed the Tyria's story about Princ Rurik, and EotN wasnt that bad, but if you want great storyline, play Final Fantasy

haven't final fantasy like 14-15 movies?that means(i think)bigger story then Warcraft universe...
you need like months to understand HOLE story

I also hope they keep it but they never said it =/ As long as the skillbar locks as soon as you leave a outpost/town i'll be happy I think 4-5 months before the release I'll get back hardcore to GW and get more titles. They also said the Beta wont be too far from the release

Although when there was only Prophecies, those were the tiiiimes. Now it's mostly deserted.

That game is probably gonna kick a lot of other mmos in the nuts.
Im gonna play the Charr race first, i always loved em in GW they look full of win! O_o
Im gonna play it EVEN if its monthly fee because im sure it will be worth the money.

I hope they raise the level cap in GW2 because even though it helped create fair pvp, it was way too low and easy to get to(imo).

I'm fine with cap 20, its a PvP based game anyway.

Even though I know it is a pvp based game I would also like to see some more pve content. Mainly because GW can get boring very quick after you finish the story because the only thing you can really do is pvp. I would love to see them add some dungeons or raids that require you to finish the story first and maybe contain some unique weapons and armor. Also, I would love to see some unique pvp gear too so there is more incentive to keep playing.

I hope that they dont give anyone more power because he grinded more.
The best thing in history of MMO's is what Anet made - let everyone be equal at cap, thats why its PvP game.
I spoken with a friend, he said that there will be PvE events, like Dragons attacking a town, and you will have to defend it. You will be able to teleport to only main towns, while probabbly the little ones will be under attack from time to time, if you fail to defend a city, it will be wrecked and everything, untill villagers repair it.

I think it will be really awesome, cant wait till 2011 (when it will probabbly go out)


Oh and P.S. the main town will not be Lions Arch, its under control of Dragons, it will be Divinity's Coast
