Join TSRO (Taiwan Sro)

Hello, well I am some of my friends started to play Tsro.

One of my friends is getting this error (http://img512.imageshack.us/img512/6724/41190381.png) while he is trying to update client.

Got a real annoying problem here.





this happened the first time i downloaded, then i re-downloaded and its still there :[
It pops up after im done installing updates.

r u trying to dl csro or tsro??

as for the 1st pick try running ccleaner or deleting ur temp files manually followd by restarting ur pc and then install usually works for me in case of most softwares

The same thing happened to me several times, think it had something to do with the old ENG media.pk2 file.

this is what i did: install the client->update(this can take a while)->put in the english pk2 from 1st post->update again(relatively shorter)->use the english sroclient.exe file sacrosanctus posted a couple pages back and it workd perfectly...although this couldve been dumb luck you nvr know

Tried again.

First i installed the game, then i let it update. Then i replaced the media pk2 with the one in the directory, then replaced the sro_client w/ the one in the directory too. started the game...let it update..same problem -_-. BTW the first update was much faster than the one after i replaced the media pk2 & sro_client...

Still, the same problem pops up >_>. I have tried replacing both media pk2 and client, replacing only media pk2, and replacing only sro_client. They all keep showing the same problem after the second time updating. However, if i don't replace the media pk2 or the sro_client and just play w/ the taiwanese ones, i can play. But all the letters are squares...

Probably not. I downloaded the media pk2 from the first post. I downloaded the tsro client from http://www.megaupload.com/?d=YROQFQ2U & http://www.megaupload.com/?d=MIS2GM0N (2 parts) which sanj posted in asylum thread. and this is the english sro_client which sanj posted at the asylum thread http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QX8CVUBO.

Should i download the ones sacrosanctus posted? o.o

I think your DOB that you put while registering needs to match the one you put in the CID generator for the CID to work..dunno for sure

as for the CID just type 12 random numbers only.

when you double click the client im guessing you get a window with alot of "??????" symbols for that just check the left box and click on ok.

now that you have the client launcher which should update but like iSRO this could be buggd abit so try w8ing for 2-3 mins and if the update doesnt start then restart the launcher.
oh and dont change the media.pk2 or exe files until AFTER the up date.

ya that pk2 is old i thnk try the client.exe file sacrosanctus uploaded a 1-2 pages back

I think you just need to run to the npc and they give it to you.Well, thats how it went in cSRO.

ok 1st stop quoting urself its annoying

2nd im not quite sure what you mean but if your worried about changing ur client and stuff dont be cos english pk2's come out pretty fast for a bot free version of SRO, trust me lots of geeky ppl love this game(im one of them )
