Actually if i were him, i would first fix the phy reinforces on his set. Most are between 0 and 22% and IMO they are THE most important white for a bower.

A lot i think. For example, i've always been told that on a weapon the physical reinforce value is more important then the physical attack power, guess it's the same on gears.

Its about the same importance, reinforcement on gear works like this:
the percentage of the physical reinforcement is how much defence you get from your str, so he is right, when you have a pure str bower with ~500str, and you have a (purely hypothetical) physical reinforcement of 50%, then the defence of that piece of gear will be physical defence+ 0.5*500
So if your physical reinforcement is pimped to lets say 55%, then your defence will be physical defence+0.55*500 .... since you are pure str, this can add up real quick, so yeah.

The pysical defence shown in the character screen is the sum of all physical defences on your gear, PLUS the sum of all the reinforcements. So just try to change one physical reinforcement and you can see the effect on your total physical defence in the character screen for your build.

The attentive reader will have noticed that reinforcements only really kick in at higher levels, when the amount of str/int gets really high

Takes a very good level 95 build to kill me...
I've tried most of all the builds...
Warrior/Cleric, Blader, Bower, Glavier, Wizzard/Cleric, Rogue/Cleric...
Non of them beat me... I gotta have a fight against Captains for it to be fun for me, others are too simple... >_>

Down side is that people start bitching and complaining at me, how I do this, I don't do that bla bla bla, but its fun!

Once I get the time, I will start recording my pvp's because i'm sure a couple here wont believe me, say i'm full of crap and what not! School is more important though at the moment
