Is it ok to ask about gold drop?

I remember seeing a vid here about someone dropping massive amounts of gold at once? How did he do that? Was it ever figured out? I wanna run to gold bot and drop 1 gold piles like crazy, make them crash or something. Or lure them to a spot and get stuck.

Is there a faster way of dropping the gold? I heard macros can do certain seq, are those legal? How do you make one? Also, did you try leading them to kara or takla? be funny watching them all die...

when i did it for that video (keep in mind it was a while a go) the gold bots had a set area if they go outside of it they automatically sit down and scroll back to town
and now that most gold bots are like 10 levels above what they grind on due to the addition of party mobs i dont think youll be able to kill them on any mobs inside their range
the only productive way to kill them is to use lightning thieves like everyone and their brother

my other character is a warlock and even that doestnt work anymore because of the gigantic gap between them and the mobs

Position your inventory window over the confirm message when you drop gold, then just spam click and the number 1.

when i did it its plenty easy to move around
gold bots are retarded therefore they tend to go after the same exact pile of gold as every other bot so they pick it up or theyre too late and another bot gets it so they stand and think for a second and go after the next pile (the same one as all of the other bots)
tl;dr
bots are stupid while theyre fighting over gold you can move around
