A lot of what some of us considers Chinese food are mere westernized versions of Chinese food according to an asian friend of mine..... They're not really what Chinese people eat in thier homes... A lot of their foods some of us wont want to eat...like horse penis, cow brains, cow testicles and eyes, cats, rats and dogs etc...

Ur friend must be joking. I might not be chinese but I'm asian and chinese is the second biggest race in Malaysia. They dont eat those exotic foods here. Thai ppl on the other hand love those kinda foods.
