SJSRO Help

Alright, heres the deal. I downloaded the clients and the pk2, and I am able to get the game going by simply clicking the sro_client.exe thing (the Silkroad.exe is no help at all, directs me to a dead link claiming I need to update my Direct X drivers..)

I start the game, client loads, I put my info in and bam... C8 error. Always

How the **** do I fix this shit? There are numerous pk2 files and I can't download them all. I'm content with the regular 70 level skill animations and stuff... but I just want to Farking play.

run as admin .. and xp comp mode .. it should work fine

~Edit: that "Boxxy" look hot in ur avy.. in vids its not that much hot as in ur avy :S.. xD

Awesome, that helped alot. I just set it for compatibility with windows 98 and I'm good now. Only 1 thing remaining, how do I get SRO to run in Windowed mode (not Full Screen).

There is no ingame option for it

well.. i really dont know.. i dont play in window mode :S..
but what actually happens sometime for me.. let say im using 800x600 res.. i run anything that use higher res.. and close it.. now i have sro in window mode.. xd.. i know this doesnt help.. but u can try logging in with 800x600 res, then go to desktop and change res to higher.. it may work. im unsure

*Sigh* The joys of older clients... I'm too used to iSRO and its interface. There is an option to put it in a Window mode for that.. Cause I have my desktop res at 1366x768, iSRO at 1280x720 in windowed mode... I want SJSRO to be that same res too but in Window mode.

look.. put ur desktop to 1280x720 , and start sjsro.. put it to 1280x720 too, then go to desktop and change it to 1366x768 , it may works.. im unsure.. again.. xD

Now I have another question, how come my skill bar doesnt save whenever I close my client? I do have it running in compatibility mode (Windows XP). And its a pretty big annoyance with this, having to put the pots and skills back in the correct slots before I can do anything.

Other than that, things are going good. Made Level 49 already.

gawd i need help. so i saved my old ecsro files. i got some ip patcher thingy and places it in my ecsro folder and now when i clicked the launcher i got some BSO memory problem.

anything else i need to download before i can play? like media.pk2?

i had that thing.. but by time it disappeared
btw.. put in ip2 V02 (like mine >..< )
