Hey guy's Was wondering if anyone knew for definate, becuase i can never tell, if that when you are a trader and you are on a transport and someone in the party uses bless, if whether or not the defense of the transport is affected? i.e. it becomes harder for the thiefs to kill it? hmmhmmmm hmmmm, what a question? look forward to heaaring replies!

well isn't the transports defense related to yours? or just what level you are? because if your level 10 and go threw tigers the horse will take more damage then if your level 20 and go threw tigers.

No buffs can be cast on anyone on a transport or horse.

Hmm...it has been a long time since I did a trade run, but I'm 100% sure it does not work on a regular horse. Unless JM has changed it.
Trade transport - I am not sure.
Any area buff will work on people on trade/moving animals. Buffs like bless/holy spell/aoe version of integrity (the cleric stat heal), healing/mana orbit and the bards tambours/dances. You just can't use buffs on them where you have to select them. Like str/int/defenses/targeted heals (healing cycle for instance) for cleric and vital attacks/heals for chinese forcers

no, it's not like this, the higher lv the trans is the higher is the def
but still how come a horse being used by a level 20 lives longer then a level 10 using a horse (being attacked by the same thing)? or does your level effect the amount of hp it has?

maybe the lvl 20 guy just met less tiger attks...defense is not affected though afaik

Not true, Item Mall Transports have the same defense rating as the level of the one that summoned it. Also, their HP stopped increasing at 90 cap, a lvl 100 Trader's Transport has the same HP as it did in 90 Cap which is is about 202k.
In Behemoth/Lizard or NPC Transport's case tho, they are constant. A behemoth, for example, has a defense rating of a Lv 75 transport and a fixed HP of about 170k. It's really a suicide trading with anything but an Item mall transport for any lvl 95+ traders.

Also, it seems most of the party spells applies to the trader. Orbit works, Holy spell works, group recovery etc
Str/int/holyword/phys/mag etc are unable to be used on a mounted trader.
Nice, didn't know the HP increases by increments not by level, but still, you don't really think it has 0 defense right? I might see why it might have a lvl 90 transport defense rating, but if it has 0 Defense, like what that info says, that would mean every hit it takes would be comparable to the damage taken by mangyangs, which is not the case obviously...

Well, at least that's what I see a year ago, unless now they changed it. A nuker lvl 70 generally deal 30k dmg nuke to a buffalo. lvl 90 80-90k dmg
