I'm rather bad at detecting sarcasm, but no QFT as far as I know actually means Quoted For Truth or something like that. Or, acording to wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QFT ^_^

QFT = Quoted For Truth

Warrior / cleric is really good in parties, the best... maybe not, but it's up there, bard / cleric would probably be better.. if there's no cleric, play cleric. If there is, play bard.

@nitro what skills from cleric can be useful? Well, all of them except STR INT? If the party doesn't have a cleric but has wizards you can tank with vigors easily. So, you can just throw up screen on each wizard, switch to cleric and use holyspell and recovery division.. rebuff cleric defense for everyone, then use bless and switch back to give warrior buffs again.
Someone make me an Aion-related sig and I will give you 5 dollhairs.

and you'd recast Warrior buffs every 5 minutes for recovery division?
Party without pure Cleric is fail, there ALWAYS will be Cleric, since most of Wizards have Cleric subclass... and who doesnt want to recast buffs every 30 minutes and spam only healing orbit?
Everyone wants to Cleric in party, people are killing for that place.
The thing thats rarer to find are Warriors, so mostly people will ask you to play Warrior.

I've used Vital Increase this is what I found:

1) To tank a nuker and a wiz at the yetis... they both died because we were surrounded by 2 pt giants and 3 parties (testing pourposes).
2) To tank them at penon warriors... they both made it alive all the time but I haven't used Vital Increase, just Protect and I could see how the mobs were running towards me. (testing pourposes)
3) At the ctf... it was boring... it took them too long to kill the mobs so I decided to quit Vital Increase, cast Iron Skin and yes, I killed those mobs in a couple of seconds.
4) To tank 3 nukers, 1 wiz and 1 cleric at the dw caves... they don't really need me, they just want me to lure mobs and I died like 3 times. (griding party)

BTW, luring mobs when you're a hand griding player it's completely boring.

To sum up:
1) That increase in aggro occurs when you cast the skill, it's not a constant increase in your aggro.
2) 300% of aggro of a warrior is like talking about nothing... instead of that you can absorb 45% (Protect) of two wizards which I think it's a lot and even better than keep on casting Vital Increase.
3) Vital Increase is a waste of sp and I hope you ALL EXPERIENCED AND HIGH LEVEL WARRIORS come to Iris, get to lvl 100 and then help me with my GAP 3 or 4 lvls because it's a pain in the butt and now I've more problems with my SP.

I could use those SP to raise my 1h passive skills.
I should say BULLSHIT now because I've more problems thanks to you all.
Some ppl should learn when it's time to shut their mouths instead of calling a young warrior noob or whatever... shame on you all.
Angry DD

EDIT: One of the nukers said that I'm really good... dedicated to you all EXPERIENCED WARRIORS OF LVL 100.
I'm lazy.

Do I even have to comment this ignorance? I'll just comment this.

300% of aggro of a warrior is like talking about nothing... instead of that you can absorb 45% (Protect) of two wizards which I think it's a lot and even better than keep on casting Vital Increase.

You realize you can have both fences / quota and vital increase stimultaniously?

kthx, lrn2warrior

Oh and p.s. people flatter too much in this game.

Nice.

Cool.

Splendid.

Interesting.

Have you ever even seen a effective party? Let me try to find some videos.... Here, take a look:
Spoiler!

To sum up:
1) That increase in aggro occurs when you cast the skill, it's not a constant increase in your aggro.
Yes, it's a constant as far as I know, it increases the effectiveness in attracting and maintaining aggro through your attacks and taunts.
2) 300% of aggro of a warrior is like talking about nothing... instead of that you can absorb 45% (Protect) of two wizards which I think it's a lot and even better than keep on casting Vital Increase.
Vital increase + protect; increased HP, increased aggro, absorbing aggro. Differently from what you may think the job of a warrior is to tank and lure, not to deal damage as they are way more ineffective at it if compared to euro ints. In ineffective parties you'll do just fine simply attacking mobs and somewhat protecting your friends, but that's not how it works in effective parties.
I'm in the same situation as you, though I'm with a 7 gap instead, opening it to 9.

I could use those SP to raise my 1h passive skills.
I should say BULLSHIT now because I've more problems thanks to you all.

Sorry, we didn't want to get you angry (I'm serious). And considering it's extremely rare to see warriors that even tank, most of them try to be the damage dealers, if you tank it's already splendid for everyone. Take a look at the vids, THAT is a effective party. Yours is NOT effective, it's good, but not effective. If you think it's enough, do whatever you want. We are trying to help others here if you don't mind. It's rather rare to find good parties anyways, so I don't blame you for thinking what you do is the best. SP will always be a constant annoying problem if you aren't full farmed, you should already be used to that.

I can't help you any further because I do not have a capped warrior. Thanks for doing those tests, and I'm sure you won't regret getting vital increase once you get used to using it. Try not to forget to max the taunts and leveling most other skills in the first two lines of warrior tab, some of them do not need to be maxed, but they are indeed important. I honestly don't think we are guiding you in the wrong way.

Haha, chill Nitro. :P

I don't see how this particular situation is conclusive of how effective Vital Increase is.
2) To tank them at penon warriors... they both made it alive all the time but I haven't used Vital Increase, just Protect and I could see how the mobs were running towards me. (testing pourposes)
Same. Vital Increase won't keep you from using Protect, so...?
3) At the ctf... it was boring... it took them too long to kill the mobs so I decided to quit Vital Increase, cast Iron Skin and yes, I killed those mobs in a couple of seconds.
Were you in CTF with pure STR wizards that the 30-ish% damage you lose from Vital Increase should make such a drastic difference in killrate?
4) To tank 3 nukers, 1 wiz and 1 cleric at the dw caves... they don't really need me, they just want me to lure mobs and I died like 3 times. (griding party)
Luring mobs is what you would be doing most of the time in parties that are actually efficient. Vital Increase makes that so much easier.

BTW, luring mobs when you're a hand griding player it's completely boring. Yup. You'll just have to suck it up rather than irritate your party everytime you insist on being a damage dealer.

To sum up:
1) That increase in aggro occurs when you cast the skill, it's not a constant increase in your aggro. No. You're just blindly hating on the skill now.
2) 300% of aggro of a warrior is like talking about nothing... instead of that you can absorb 45% (Protect) of two wizards which I think it's a lot and even better than keep on casting Vital Increase. You can still cast Protect on those two Wizards while Vital Increase is on.
Last time people in this forum tried to help you, you were such an ingrate bitch about it. If you really think Vital Increase is a waste of SP then don't take it. You seem to be happy about being a half-assed warrior anyway.

I could use those SP to raise my 1h passive skills.
I should say BULLSHIT now because I've more problems thanks to you all.
