Explanation of the situation: ltsune and I have been working on the promotion of the game while using what we thought was in-game footage produced by one of the coders. Now it is revealed that this footage is from another private server, just with NGSRO's logos. We are not able to get in contact with the coder responsible for this, but we will try our hardest to do so. An excuse for this mess would be nice to be able to give you, but since we have been using this material blindly without knowing its origin, you will have to talk with the coder.

ltsune and I were able to connect to the private server when it was on an earlier stage and have seen proof that it exist. It is just unfortunately that while we are trying to promote its existence fake material is supplied to us. This only makes the "Prove it - Believe it" situation more messed up.

No offense to you two, but it just seems fake now, most fake servers give a explanation like that (Mizuki's post above) to make people think it is real again.

I and Mizuki talked with the coder team and we decided to turn the promotion of the server off until our server is fully up and running in a beta stage.

The project ain't gonna stop here, we will try to keep this thread updated on the progress (when we get any news from the coders). Please don't ask for any release date. It won't help asking for more proofs of the servers existence until the beta is official launched. As we don't have any good evidence at the moment.

The beta should still be able to hold 150 members tho.

So far we received no donations and therefore we see no trouble setting this on standby. (standby doesn't mean that the coders will stop working on the server. We will just stop the promotion until everything is working)

How dumb is your "coder" that takes a video from SREMU, edit it a bit then uploading it on youtube and thinks no one is going to find out? Believe it or not but SRO players seems to be pretty clever.

After all this scams about private servers I dont even understand why people donate before the server is up, they must be something else than dumb, is it something that is even worse than dumb?

I just wanted to correct one of my above posts.

We actually did receive our first donation. I talked to the guy who donated if he wanted his money back due the fake video thing, but he said now so everything should be just fine

The money will be used on a server which we are going to buy.

Vid was from a c# silkroad emulator coded by Lyzerq. If they're using Lyzerq's server files, then technically they're not faking it. The problem is Lyzerq is selling updates to his emulator, the ones he has out is very buggy and incomplete. I'm guessing if it is indeed Lyzerq's emulator, then they need the donations to purchase further updates.

I contacted the coder and we are not using the emulater from Lyzerq's. The coders have been working on this project for about .... 9-10 months. A lot of work is need to be done. The coders have been working on getting the files to work faster and of course the races etc.

In about 5 days we will buy a server on ebay. I will send you guys the link to the auction so that you can see that it actual is us who bought it. The ebay username will be ngfusion

We will randomly choose some of the sites member to be beta testers. We don't know when the system will be ready for a beta test but right now we (Mizuki and I) are concentrated on finding a good game server which can host the game.
