Is it possible to play alone? Or do you always have to be up against or playing with someone/a stranger. I suck at this and don't want anyone to see how bad I suck, until I get a lil better at least <.<

I think there was an option to play against the computer, atleast in A18. It changed so maybe that got removed too hehe. Look around the start menu I guess.

A. There are rookie servers you can play on, at the least everyone will be the first ranks same as you (of course some might be old players creating new chars.)
B. Sometime right about when you pick the server, there should be an option for tutorial, you can do that however many times you want and if you successfully complete it, you get some little bag guy that follows you around.

Also you can always play tournaments, people wont get to see your shots but your final score. Tournaments are definitely the best way to "improve" (since it's faster and you can always use a tiki scroll to join another one and so on). Tho i never minded to vs against people i considered better than me to improve my shots and such.

HIO - Hole in one
Albatross - Three shots under par
Eagle - Two shots under par
Birdie - One shot under par
Par - Par is the "normal" amount of shots or strokes needed to get the ball in the hole. There is a different par thats appointed to each hole, but all holes are par 3~5
Bogey - One shot over par
Double bogey - Two shots over par
Triple bogey - Three shots over par
+4 - 4 shots over par
+5 - 5 shots over par
+6 - Give up, automatically "lost" for that hole.

compared to eve online where ur uber expensive ship can be blown up any second, i'd say playing golf in cartoony graphic land is softcore

how do you hit high shots? there was a guy that used some sort of pill to hit some crazy high ball, but i cant find it in the store. :/

High shot... do you mean a special shot? You use Strength potion to do those, and you need to do an arrow combo to do those. They cost about 130 pang a potion, but they help to get shots like HIO and chip ins. I dont know if the tut. has it, but you should try to see if they show you how there, if not, a guide somewhere online( I dont have one bookmarked, sry )

boo, black papel and dolphini (missing on the pic) are the other ones.

When you see only one server, try to join it, then try to select them again; or just relog. Servers shud be up by then either way.
