Don't get me wrong, I like IPod, Touch is awesome. However, that like only goes for nano/classic/touch. The shuffle is such a bare bones mp3 player that it really isn't worth the cost. If you must get IPod, I suggest nano or higher, otherwise might as well go with a different brand if you don't need a higher capacity mp3 player.

All ipods are overpriced. Your money is better spent elsewhere...unless you're buying it mainly because of how good it looks. If so, good choice.

Well ive got the iPod Nano and its just rlly compact, indeed got nice looks, but its as light as a feather, and i dropped it a million times and still not broken:P
And its got a long battery (if not playing games)

I don't hate Mac/Apple at all, in fact, I'd buy a macbook/iPod Touch right now if I had the money, but the shuffle is ridiculous. Its what? 4 gigs? And it costs 75$~? I wouldn't be surprised to find a 20$ flash drive if you rip it open. So im going to say what has been said over a thousand times, "You're just paying for the brand"

Every other iPod out there on the market right now has a reasonable price tag.

IMO 4 gigs is more than enough. On my PC I only listen to the same 4-5 playlists anyway, they all fit on my iPod. Also, it cost $155 including GST >.<

4 gigs will get boring quickly, unless you put the time into replacing old songs with new songs regularly (for me at least).

Normal ipods i like though, i've got a black classic one, 120gb (nowhere near full though.. yet). But i use it for my car anyway, so much nicer than using CDs.

no screen, random, pointless, for what you get you seriously may aswell buy a cheap mp3 player, iv got an ipod video i like it, take it everywhere with me but the shuffle imo is a utter waste of money

I have a creative zen aswell, good thing about it is that the interface is similar to the iPod, wich I love since it's so simple and easy to use.
