Hey, everyone.

SRF is maintained by the Team, which includes 2 administrators and 8 global moderators. They work hard to keep SRF the way it is, and try their best to keep the forum running as smooth as possible. You all should know that if you guys ever need anything - questions, complaints, suggestions - all of them are always available to help you as good as they can.

However, they are all normal people too. They all took the time recently to write a little bit about themselves for those of you guys who might be interested to get to know them a little bit better. Names, pictures, and a random assortment of information that may or not pertain to SRO.

Summary of SRF Career: Lurker since February, registered April 2006. I joined the moderation team on January 19th 2008 after I was asked to, I never applied to be a part of it. Aside from handing out public warnings on thread lockdowns and after banning, I work behind the scenes. I leave little trace of my presence and my actions, but do not make the mistake of assuming I'm not around.
I lack every sense of humour, so don't try anything funny. You might make me do something you will regret.

I think the game itself is fine, it's just poorly managed. There are plenty of things that could be improved with the content and features, but as it stands, I don't think SRO is a bad game at all, other than how it's run.

SRO != bad.
Joymax and the lazy cheating community = bad. I don't see the lazy cheaters ever improving, but perhaps someday Joymax will. I won't hold my breath though.

Most all moderators here do play the game casually, or did play the game for a long time. Its why they have the feelings about the quality of the game that they do. I have not played SRO in some years now.

Each moderator has different personalities. Some have soft edges, others have sharp edges.

Being discontent with the state SRO is in doesn't make them unqualified to do their job.

I understand your concerns about when staff or moderators come across as trolls, and Im not trying to suppress the communities opinion about that either. However, do remember these bits of information

1. This is a private forum and there are no governing 'rulesets' the forum must abide by.

2. All moderators here are volunteers. They are not paid. They are not customer service representatives and any actions they perform on the board is out of kindness from their own hearts and passion for the forums community.

3. I had Gyros for lunch.

The jobbing aspect was badly executed, the company sucks, the community sucks (yes, botters, scammers, hackers, assholes, and gold buyers suck), and it's not worth defending.

No other SRO site is ahead. SRT was, but that was ages ago. I dont see how them voicing their opinions is such a problem, especially when there are 100s of people that agree with it.

i really think that it is worth your time to check out tsro
there is a complete legit community playing the game the way
it was intended
silkroad online isn't dead, just very hard to find
if you do pm in game on the m server ign Rodom
just check it out
