.damage competition

A week ago or so I made a damage competition website, people from rev6 already know it. I was advised to try 'advertise' it here, where quiet a few damage competitions were popular. Everything is checked and added manually by me, the rules of the competitions can be found on the website also.

If the website is going to be a success I'll buy a domain (using a free right now, as you could guess already) and also paid hosting, which I'll probably use for other purposes also, adding sub domains.

To all the 'omg u r gonna hack me noop' people: nobody will ever ask you for your personal information, except for the server and name. You'll never get any mail from us, nothing. If you shall get it at any time, it's not us. We also will not provide any download links or anything to any kind of software, which could contain key-loggers/mall-ware/spy-ware/etc.

People already are abusing it. I'm going to add the logging of IPs for submitted entries, which should be enough for me to block out all the idiots out there. Seriously, grow up.

abusing it how? also blocking there ip wont stop them they will probably just get a proxy. i also agree on the growing up thing some people do tend to act like 10 year olds.

i don't exactly what your doing..... trying to see who gets the highest damage? will there be like prizes and stuff?

It's the same as the competition DarkJackal was maintaining in his thread. This is just a website where stuff is/can be organized better.

There were 2 entries, which were just stupid, one of them was even totally sick. I won't go into details, but you'd probably puke if you'd see it.

As said earlier, it's a better version of DarkJackal's thread, which is easier to manage. Guess it's prize already to be seen, doing the best damage out there in a specific category.

Edit: also, after a second thought I decided to not put up a block/ban system, I'd just block/ban innocent people who might want to add or view something.

Sorry about the dmg competition on SRF btw, got pretty lazy with it and for some reason my acc on electronicfiles.com was deleted where the pics for it was hosted >.<.

The screenshots should still be there, but all there is a bunch of "image" links lol, the groups started from from 2x to 9x, chinese then euro.

Found the thread now. Going to see if I can get enough information from rev6 to add them. I need the server as well... shouldn't be to hard, might take a few minutes. I'm off to bed for today tho.

Edit: Took me about an hour to sort out valid/invalid entries, but now the valid ones are on the website. If I'll have time I'll go through the 71 pages, but don't think that's the case, heh.

Edit #2: Website was down for a few hours, forgot to check something in the website administration. ^^'

All right, added a little tool to the website. You could use a calculator to do it or use a excel sheet with formulas, but here's the on-line version. :p

It's your choice if you actually really use it or not, but I made it because there are some people that don't know how to calculate the average level of a party.
