Pvp - Blader or Glaiver ?

I was jus wonderin what u fellas thoughts where on who is the better pvper ... glaiver or blader ? i am going to farm one or the other & with the skills i want, glaiver costs about 200k - 300k less for 95 FF. So jus wanna know what u guys think

Sorry to dissapoint you dude, but glaviers are not so great in pvp/jobwar at lvl 100....Of course, if you have good weapon and equip you can pwn with any char...But I think a blader or a bower can do much more than a glavier

Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion but glaivers are useful. A blader can give status and kd and bows can give high crit dmg and kb. Glaivers can give high overall damage as well as stun more often than bladers and archers. Every vid I've seen is that the glaivers do more damage than a bow unless the bow crits.

On topic: imo if you don't mind not being ff or farming 250k-300k sp then go blader.

A force glavier does fairly well at *100cap* but i doubt many classes could have the power to out tank a full str blader with a good set, ofcourse that goes for any class with a good set so the question doesnt really come down to class, it comes to player skill and equipt, buuuuut i prefer blader stocked with potions, that way worse comes to worse your prepared for a potion fight with a bower or a warrior.

Blade vs a glaive, if the blader knows what he's doing the blade should win. A light or cold glaive just can't do the dmg to the blader to kill him. The blader can just attack with chains until he has division and then spam KD. It's a lot harder to pvp a force glaive.

hardly any1 likes to pvp bladers on my server, extremely difficult to kill, it will end on a pot war or blader winning, a glavier would need good crits to win. I prefer glavier overall, well balance, does great vs all builds, to ensure the pvp end on a pot war then all the glavier has to do is spam firewall and purification pills when needed, atk with emperor for stun and ghost spear for kb all the times,recast firewall when over, glavier will not die but it will not win either cuz of the firewall long casting time.

That glavier is fucking horrible.
Soul spear emperor, windless, ghost spear.. rinse and repeat, just terrible.

topic starter, this cap glavie vs blader the blader will probably win most of the time unless the glavier has force (Oh, and actually knowing how to play helps)

If you like both.. why not go for a dual build? It's a very viable option.
100 bicheon / 100 heuksal / 80 fire / 20 ice (Or 100 fire.. if you'd rather, I'd prefer snowshield.)

Pros:
-BR +10 while holding a shield (So if you have a BR 16 shield it becomes BR 26)
-Highest chinese HP
-Ability to give debuffs to increase damage
-Debuffs to reduce damage received
-15s of physical defense, 15s of magical defense (I don't think those books are linked at least)

cons;
-needs speed drugs.
-no phantom (meh)
that's all I can think of..

Best way to win a pvp would be to start with blade and spam Bleed smash's. Once they have bleed they'll probably pill it off, good. Use lightning chain for bleed / division / impotent.. if you land either bleed or division (or both) KD them. Quad stab, if you feel their HP is low switch to glavie and do ghost spear storm cloud.. if not, either use soul spear emperor or flying dragon flash (The new 2x glavie throw) followed by GSSC. If not dead.. switch back to blade and put more stats. This build played correctly can be devastating.

Glavie gives the most DPS (damage per second) out of the other two STR chinese builds. Blade is the best tanker; so you would get the best of both.

If a dual build doesn't appeal to you.. I'd recommend at least going with force. What ever you do, don't skill lightning for a STR Chinese (Or, at least delevel it at cap)
Force glavie would be my favourite STR chinese. Force blade is also great. Again.. 80 fire / 20 ice would be my recommendation. (With 100 force, of course)

I was thinking of doing this, but i still need to farm for a blader which i don't really want to. i know this build is real strong, so i might give it some thought ^^ My only question is that do i still need all the skills as a normal blader ? And btw, i wouldn't have gotten lightning anywayz ... much prefer cold
