Need Opinions (Want To Make a Bow)

Well, after the recent updates to SRO, I was thinking of coming back to the game to play when I have some free time.


I've been doing some research, and I'm really interested in a bow character. I've read some guides, but nothing says anything about a force bower.

How does a force bower fair in PvP?
I was thinking about going Pach/Light/Force and 7:1 STR hybrid. Is this a decent build? I understand that fire is the strongest imbue, but I absolutely hate running slow.

Opinions, anyone?

Hey,

I started my bow as Pacheon/fire/force, at 90 cap i owned all at pvp, not its over, they can buy pills to cancel you force skills (after they opened the new cave)

After i hit lvl 95 i switched from froce to cold, better defence

Its ur choice anyway, nowdays force don't worth to be added (it was my favoirte mastery, but joymax screwed it with the pills)

ah, and btw, euros had the holy spell, you can't touch them with your force skill

Personally, force is my favorite mastery too, but it seems to be so useless sometimes.

I'd say it's one of the best among the chinese characters. You just have to be smart with debuffing I'd say.

You'd somewhat lack mag defense and physical attack, but eh, you could try it, wouldn't recommend it though. If I were you, and were to be with pacheon/lightning/force, I'd choose a hybrid like 2:1 hybrid INT perhaps or a 2:1 hybrid STR in order to deal high damage, as you do not have "defensive" masteries, just healing/curing from force. You'd need to avoid being hit as much as possible, debuffing asap, moving around with phantom and knocking back. The problem with not going fire is NOT mainly because of the imbue, it's because of the magical defense and the physical attack % buff/passive. You could possibly live without those however.

The most solid and recommended STR (be it hybrid or not) build with force for pacheon, as you already know, would be pacheon/fire/force. Any other would be risky in my opinion, but who knows what the outcome would be?

Personally, force is my favorite mastery too, but it seems to be so useless sometimes.

If it weren't for that, everyone (or most people) would go force.

I kinda like to idea of hybrid pacheon/lightning/force anyways. Just know you'll be screwed when and if cap raises and against holy spell. Pills are not really the worst problem I think.

Fire is essential for any Str build. I would recommend 100 Pach, 100 Fire, 100 Force if you want to be a Force bower. Fire increases your damage AND defence. It has the strongest imbue, mag defence buff, phy dmg increase buff and passive.

Although fire is exactly what a STR build needs, I don't think saying it's essential is entirely correct. No one has ever tried before afaik a STR build without fire at cap pvping, so we can't really be sure. We're just supposing and logically proposing, as fire fills exactly two things pure STRs most lack/need. If I recall it correctly, some months ago nearly every one used to say lightning was essential to INTs, they said INTs should obligatorily have high lightning among it's masteries. Few to none said it possibly wasn't totally essential, and now a lot of people are going pure INTs with basically only weapon/fire/cold, and some more even say fire/cold > lightning/cold. Do you understand what I mean? I'm not saying you are wrong, it's just that we can't be sure about something like this, and therefore I see no problem in trying something new. A possible outcome would be it really is not worth it, but no one can prove something like that as of now. I say: Go for it.

Why don`t you try doing a full str archer?;)....A lot of people say that hybrid archers are better at pvp, but from my opinion they are not...I mean, dont understand me wrong guys, I think hybrid archers are good at pvp, but I think full str archers can deal as good, if not better....And I talk from my experience(I have a full str archer, lvl 89 atm)....If you have a nice crit on bow(10+), you will deal some great dmg with your crits with full str archer...and of course, you have more life this meaning more tanking ability....

Anyway, it`s your own choice, I was just giving you an alternative...And by the way, if you decide to make full str archer, I would say best build for 100 would be 100pach/100fire/80light/20cold(trust me, the 20% snow shield is very very useful at 100)..
