It's one thing to have a best friend like that, but I feel its a little inappropriate to go somewhere with them on vacation. Even if you did trust them your gf is still on vacation with somoene else having a fun time without you, shouldn't you be the one they are having good times with?

take care to note "sounds like"...even if that is not really the case it "sounds like" you fit the description. Its not my fault if your post made you sound mistrustful and bitter so save the one on one talk. If you don't want people to make unclear assumptions about you from your writing than i suggest you illustrate your point more clearly next time...

As for the second part i stand by it. If you don't have enough trust in your partner to leave them alone with the people she hangs out with regularly than that relationship is a piece of crap. If you trust your girl/guy but don't trust other people around her than you'll have to trust that she/he'll do the right thing because if they don't choose the right thing when it matters theres really no point in continuing what is obviously something that won't last.

trust me, your not the only one here with a sad relationship story so don't act like you've got some perspective i could never understand....

Sorry, I can't elaborate on "from past experiences" any better. I never said I was the only one, I wanted to give my reasoning since you were assuming I'm controlling and from how you posted without illustrating your point that you yourself ever experienced something similar to what I have.

If he wasn't just an ex or friend and someone you knew was 'in love' with her that seems just even worse lol.

Obviously even if your gf/bf is faithful it doesn't change the fact ppl don't really cares and if they wanna try stuff to be someone they will, you certainly don't want your gf havin some guy all over her even if theres no chance for him, right? :d.

Maybe i'm just more protective/jealous though.

I guess ill disagree with the majority here, and say that IMO you did a good thing.
By going there you are showing her that you care about her, and besides, you say you haven't went on vacation yet, so just consider this as your vacation

However, letting those 2 go on a vacation in the first place was quite dumb tbh (esp. if you knew he had a crush on her.) and if I were you I'd probably get kinda suspicious about the fact if they may have done things they aren't telling you...

EDIT: and as for the people who keep insisting on letting her come back, are you that ignorant?
that girl just put down ~1500+ dollars to go on a vacation, so just going 'ah wth' and going home after you booked everything is one of the best ways to just throw your money away.

Needless to say the villagers were pissed and the king would never EVER call on him again to do anything for the kingdom. Nevertheless as the knight rushed off to the tower where the princess had the key and all she had to do was walk down some stairs he started wondering if it was crazy for him to let everything else go to shit, but i mean, he could't let her walk down those stairs after she climbed all the way up, would be such a waste. So the Knight saved the princess and after that she left him for a man with a job since you can't have fun with knights who don't have money. The End.

If she stays with her friend in the same room (or same bed...) then you should worry about and go get her. If you come to her, the probability of your relationship is reconstructed is lots higher than waiting for her to go home.
