PPL! We need to get the Auto-Login System out of the game!

Exactly. I'd much rather just load up my client, type ID/Pass, hit connect, then go to work. When I get home, I'm logged in and can play. I'd rather do that than get home from work, and have to sit there for an hour or two typing ID/pass, click connect, reload client, ID/pass, click, reload, ID/pass, click, reload... over and over and over and over and over... And people complain about hand grinding because of having to press 123123123 over and over!

it should be easier for some new servers, old servers like xian, troy, aege, is probably more difficult.

Doesn't take longer then 30min to me. Wich is better then restarting Silkroad all the time, the old login system wants to make me throw my pc out of the window xD

i like the new system and i understand how they cannot give us a estimated time of connection because they cannot predict log offs, dc, or prem users log ons, but i think it would be nice to have like a line counter, just to tell you what position in line you are, that way you have some sort of general idea when you can start playing, could they do that?

Yesterday it took. more than 13hours. i went to sleep and sometime during the night he got in. It got its bad and good sides.

oh and there are 4 different login server i heard. how do u know which one ur trying on? O.o

There's another thread here on SRF, I believe someone linked to it above in this thread, that talks about the 4 login servers. As soon as you open your SRO client, before you enter your ID/pass, you can go to a command prompt and type 'netstat -a' without the quotes to see which login server you're using, and change your hosts file to basically trick the client into using the server you want.

I guess it's not quite a queue system though. The client shouldn't have to send your id/pass over and over and over and over while you wait for your turn to get in the game. It should authenticate once, and the game server can just pull the next person in from the queue whenever a slot opens, without having to reauthenticate.

did the auto loggin get a lot worse after this inspection? before i could actually loggin SOMETIMES, now i cant loggin at all, and i been on .29 / .28 servers all the times, still cant loggin for shit. we need this shit out
