Gold Bot punishment by users... a lie

Have you ever seen this?

This is not punishment. They're dlvling the bots to continue the gold farming.

So, what do you guys think?

We've all seen that before, but up to now I didn't think much of it as delvling.

Good point there. Higher lvl gear tends to be expensive, but this way, they can still make a hefty profit and use cheaper gear and pots. And this is a very effecient way to do mass delvling...

I think it's only really dmging to them when they equip their bots with nice stuff or the bot had something good in it's inventory and died while running out. But the odds of that are slim. It's mostly elixirs and return scrolls and pots from what i've heard.

Oh and Couldn't be without noticing but why don't u use Spirit assault in Mouse Solt, just click the wheen and you get to the enemy.

Certain areas of the map are so crowded and the next levels too by goldbots so the only way to gaingold is by lowering their goldbots levels, they can use higher level skills on same level mobs, its faster, cheaper and that way they dont need to search for new areas (usually goldbots grind at the same spots.

But to get back on topic that is not how gold companies de-level their goldbots, they do it at the other gate and the chars will be naked and only have a weapon to attack, reason why i still strongly believe there is NO WAY an equipped weapon will drop (Shields do but that is another story)

And yes, I wanted to know how many damage did that bot trap so I step in... less than a second and I was dead. xD

@my personal friend, TheKnight: I use the quick slot for Vigor pots... they come handy at the ctf. ^^

It cant just have 500 capped bots goldbotting at the same place, they have to spread their bots out on the map so they dont ks each other as much and so they maximize their profit.

good point but the question is - how much lower is the weapon level than the bot's level? If it's 5 levels, this delevelling will take a lot of time.

Here's something you all can do:

instead of <SERVER> type the server name eg Oasis, and instead of <CHAR> type the char name of some bot you see on the server. This page will show you the lvl and items of that char. Pretty cool if you ask me

I think the goldbots did not anticipate other people delevelling them, so delevelling them will make things worse for them. I am sure goldbots work the best when everyone leaves them alone. They probably hunt at gap 9 so they hardly level anyway. I still think delevelling them is better than just leaving them alone.

@RAF, TheKnight: ty about my sword, it's just a +3 with 11 (at lvl 52) and 9 (at lvl 56) critical.

@penfold1992: that day was strange because all the gold bots log in at the same time and they were walking in a straight line to the west gate of Hotan. It was about 20 mins I guess. We were (all my friends) seeing that and we thought it was the end of Iris. After those 20 mins they all disappear and the trader who was doing the trap too. I think it's too much coincidence.

I'm still blind with iSRO, I think I expect some kind of change that would never come.

Edit: RAF, I use the vigors because of wizards. I don't like to get owned by them.

When talking about 2h swords... I have all from 56 to 85 at least +5 (few missing), and some +7 (like 85, 56)

@TheKnight: Yes, you're right. BTW, I think the owners of the gold bots are the ones who do stalls with SOX items so they put you in a position where you need to buy gold from those companies.

@panterr: i don't have much money or elixirs to try more than +3. =[
I'd love to have a +5 with 12 as a critical because I've never had one, or even one SOX item. Some ppl told me they're overrated but how can I know if they're overrated if I haven't tried one yet? I'd kick god's butt with such a powerful sword. ^^

Edit: @panterr: dk why they don't store their stuff but they're "tools" of the gold selling companies and they get all the drops and it'd be a waste of time to store all that, better to do it as fast as they can so they don't get caught... In fact, i don't think they lose their stuff because I haven't lose mine, I just lose exp.

Well, I haven't think about it. I thought the trader was one of the persons who was running the bots.
I just thought it because too many people knows gold bots accepts parties with exp-auto, item-free. Maybe they don't get good exp from regular mobs but what about parties mobs?

Edit: Raf, BIG LOL, I barely have 1m... yesterday I tried to do +4 because I had 1.8m it took me like 20 elixirs and 1.2m for nothing... the worst part is that my weapon got 3 times +3 but it went back to 0. At least I tried. I'm a poor again. xD
