Bear Grylls! He's awesome, I love his show. He's eaten a lot worse - deer eyeballs, bear shit, elephant shit, live spiders, etc. That one just looks bad.

IMO, I've been following this show on animal planet called "Monsters inside me". Grubs and snails have worms in them, mengial worms that are parasitic and penetrate all parts of their body, including their brain. Humans get them by eating snails and grubs. In most cases the people have died. Although one story had a group of (9?) students infected - they lived, but the worst case one almost died. He had worms crawling through the inside of his brain.

When they become adults, they get stuck and die there causing swelling of the head.

Another guy had lung fluke from eating raw crayfish in the US, while camping in the wild. He had flukes laying eggs and larva in his lungs; the fluke does this intentionally to spread their larva as you cough them out then swallow back in. Guy was coughing up blood for weeks until the doctors figured it out; then weeks after as they got rid of them.

Your a fool if you eat such things without cooking them.

If you think the grub is gross, this guy cought a snake, at it, kept the skin, peed in the skin, wore it around his neck as he hiked, then drank the piss out of the skin when he was low on water. He also cut the head of a skunk with a pocket knife, peirced the head with it, and held it up for the camera.

Survival guy is surviving imo >.<

i wouldnt trust him he is a fake, more often then not he has prepared in advanced some of the stuff, usues rope lines when he says he is climbing without aid and over night stays in hotels.
