The first thing I did was test it's sharpness on a watermelon, the blade went through it like a hot knife through butter. Do you get it imported? And what would be it's price then? Would it be full tang? On that note, is it real or is it for decoration?

I will get it imported, in the Netherlands there isnt really a wide range of choise - and the prices are wayy higher aswell

Its for myself, not to show off with to others.
I wont use it either, though - if possible i might take lessons... but not now =] i have no time atm (though im even sure if it was ment for me ^^)

i feel like i'm missing something here . why would anyone buy a sword anyway . not to mention wasting a lot of money over it but the fact that no one will use it .

well.. no way this thing will make you look cooler unless you guys walk the streets with the sword on your back , lol .

& pleahheeaase i don't want anyone saying "it's their money they can w/e they want with it" speech . unless you are the japanese guy who's making these swords you can't complain about me advising those guys .

There are a lot of ways to earn your parents respect & trust with money at a young age if you know what i mean .

Im sure you have things in your home that you dont "use" all the time / could have been cheaper - but you wanted it to be nice, and were willing to pay more.
Its basicly decoration - maybe i dont want to hang some silly painting on my wall, and i'dd rather have something like this ?
There are people paying way more for a baseball with an autograph on it and mannnyyy other useless things.
And yea - it IS my money, why would i not spend it on what i want to spend it on ?

I don't understand what's the problem on buying decoration sword. They are not so expencive and IMO they actually really beautiful even as a decoration.

Only $54 But's it's Full Tang, and Carbon Steel. Plus Musashi Swords have a Record for being the Best Swords for cheap. If your Looking for a Sword for under $100 that won't get destroyed with intense beating, they are the ones to go to

It was actually lost around 1600-1700, but it's still better and stronger than Carbon Steel. And it also looks way nicer I think. The Picture does not do justice. The actual sword is so Nice. I don't want to buy another Damascus though, because I'm to scared to screw it up lol. Musashi Swords have a good rep for being very durable and keeping their Edge, that's why I'll go for them Next.

I personaly think this is a really nice sword aswell(see pictures:P) though, wont buy anything else for now ^__^ the one i have now is good enough =]

Real samurai swords were banned lightyears ago. Now all they make is cheapo knockoff jobs usually made in Tawain. Theres 700$ knockoff jobs and theres $50 knockoff jobs. You cant fight with em either, or chop at things, it dings up the end of the blade.

They make hardened steal ones (cost fortune) that you can bang together and they will ding/chip LESS than others, but still

a) knockoff
b) not real samurai sword
