What do you mean the tank was a total noob? Are you sure DPS weren't killing sparks fast enough, assuming you wiped in phase 1?

It was the tanks first time. He also refused to learn anything about the tactics, nor follow the RLs (who was quite experienced in EoE) decisions... "I've done Occulus HC; I will learn this boss as we go" ... ...

We wiped in Phase 1 because he couldn't hold the aggro and refused to pull the boss out from the group; to the edge of the circle. The tank survived, but many DPS and some healers died... then the tank died cause the three healers were dead.

Ok, he was silly. Not moving a dragon off a group is... sigh.
And tank aggro a problem? Really? What class and how much TPS on average?

Grats Ryoko on Yogg! My guild's got a lot of personal stuff happening so I'm having to PuG Ulduar. I've gotten to Keepers so far, but no further. =[

The tank was a Paladin and I don't know his TPS.

Today I haven't done much. I did VH, but that's about it. I will hopefully farm some HC later tonight.

Logged one, did the jc daily(s), pugged FL 25 with my alt, got saved to an uld10 group with the main for nothing, after hardcore raiders couldn't manage the thorim arena ;s logged off.

I'm not 80, so I wouldn't know how hard he is. But grats on Yogg-saron Ryoko.

Funny thing is, theres nothing thats really "hard" about it. Its just that each person present needs to learn each ability during each phase and many mistakes are made until people understand them all, and of course every time you work on him you've got a bit different of a group or brand new people who havnt done it yet and they have to learn all over again... and of course, some nights/attempts "old" mistakes you already fixed come back to haunt you. Some nights the team just isnt working together and things arent getting done.

Until you've got ~25 who all understand every bit of it like the back of their hand and all the peices come together for one, big win (And a huge sigh of relief from the raid leader!)

got from 63-65 on my dk, xfered my pally from Hakkar to Dragonblight and changed his name(im ganna need to make a new sig now ><) and thats about it. working all day doesnt leave me as much time to play during the week as id like.

I joined 3 failed naxx groups, only one of which actually got inside the instance. Wiped on patch because dumbass melee rushed in before tanks built up threat. Also joined a fail VOA group. Wasted an entire night trying to pug something, apped at a huge raiding guild, logged the hell offline.

anyway, ran a few bg's, had a nice (losing) fight for wg, left my guild due to raid time conflicts.
