i saw it. They left out the most important and dramatic details of the book which caused it to touch on a bit of everything but never really have an overall plot. This also leaves the ending sequences extremely dry and rather dull. They also added in some useless scences which could've been time spent elsewhere.

All in all though, despite all of that it was one of the most enjoyable potter films. There was was a good balances of humor and "story" to make it entertaining and lets face it, seeing dumbldore control fire like the demi-god he is is always badass

lol yeah my friend screamed and grabbed my arm, but she was also wincing at hermione's acting lol

also wizards can't fly, thats a very important aspect that shows just how powerful voldemort really is and they had wizards flying all over the place in that movie...

I'll definitely have to check this movie out. My wife and I have read all the books. My wife owns the hardcover version of every one of them in the series and we have all of the movies up through Order of the Phoenix. Of course we've seen each of the movies in theater. It's a shame though that they leave out some of the good parts in the movies.

I do agree with the person above saying the ending left a lot unexplained. I don't remember at the moment what those questions were, but I just had that 'unanswered' feeling when I finished the book.

Saw it last night. Had a good mix of humor and drama, though the former was executed really well and the latter not so much. The scene on Dumbledore's death was really broken down to its bare bones - there were no fights between the Death Eaters and the students/staff. Was also disappointed with Fenrir not transforming completely.

But, being the sixth movie, I'm already used to parts being removed or changed that I don't really care anymore. That said, I really liked it.

IT'S TRUE!

so i watched it at the premiere and again today at noon. as a movie, it was probably one of the best hp movies. as an adaptation, it sucked.

frank dillane as young voldemort was fucking slick. he was the essence of a snake. ahhh so amazing. everyone in my group was creeping on him. but we all felt bad since he looked so young.

I work with someone that does the eyebrow thing all the time, especially when he is speaking in front of a group of people. His eyebrows flex up and down randomly as he's talking. I don't even know if he realizes it.

i watched it last night.

what's with the ending? the rest was fine cuz i was expecting things to be cut but the ending is just ugh.

the dumbledore falling thing was well done, but what happened to the before and after? there are aurors in the school and they don't fight? wth. and where was the "DON'T CALL ME A COWARD" from snape? that would've been epic, i thought when bellatrix called snape a coward in the beginning that it was foreshadowing, but nope, snape calmly walks away, how gay.

they really killed that ending imo...all the drama and all the action that should've been there was cut leaving it dull and boring...that was a great climax and allen rickman could've performed it so well...
